Thought Taga was our best on Sat night. Lots of purpose in his runs.

Fifita tried hard and looked angry but gave away a stack of penalties - probably his only poor game of the year but at least he cared about the result

Chad was solid in defense and attack but not spectacular as I anticipated. Better than what Robbo has dished up most of the season, would prefer Chad stays in the team but know won't happen.

Gordon solid despite the knock on and Degois worked hard in defense.

Peachey got belted but almost snuck through a few tackles.

Jono Wright once again had some lazy moments in defense. Tried to break through with that fend of his

Carney was poo. Needs to give more kicking and attacking responsibility to Chad. When it's Robbo I don't blame him for hogging it

Backs had no real opportunities in attack.

We had alot of our best players out but still a demorolising loss in terms of actually challenging for the title

Well summed up gards, I like how you suddenly don't like robson. Also thought stapo had a decent game too.

I like Johnny green and Glenfiddich, not bad drops

I've been drinking a scotch called 'Glen Grant' the last few months. I'm a student, so that fact that its like $45 dollars a bottle and single malt is appealing. Though, it's a pretty good scotch. Nice on its on or with Soda.

I just watched the game on record and have some thoughts:

We made them look good pure and simple. They are good, but not that good. The first 4 or 5 tries were due to poor defensive reads.

Carney must work on his defence in the off season to be worth what we paid for him. He falls off one on ones, but worse than that, the 4th and 5th tries were due to his rushing. Jennings flick back inside to Tupou worked because Carney rushed across with both the winger and the centre to get Jennings. Then carney rushed up and Cordner ran into the space provided just before halftime. Good pass from Pearce, but it shouldn't have led to a try.

Stewart Mills has done enough to hold his spot.

Peachey should also hold his spot. He is poised to open a game up soon.

We lose a lot when Degois comes on. I've noticed it all year. If the Roosters can bring mortimer on as a backup hooker, we can do the same with Peachey. I think his defence is good enough, and his impact on the attack and tempo would more than make up for it.

Our back 5 look solid at the moment.

We really need to sign another good prop for next year. Or stop Gal from getting injured or playing origin.

Next week Graham and Robson are due back. I think Townsend, obviously, and Degois should be dropped. If lewis is fit, drop Tafua as well.

In fact, just watching highlights again (why? yeah that's a good question), and between Carney and Bukuya you have most of the Roosters points.

I'll check it out when I'm running dry
