Massive test for us coming up against the best defensive team in the comp. Carney was in red hot form last week but we still only scored three tries against an ordinary team.

Win this and I'll believe we can make the top 4.

Credit will be given to flanno, but I'm confident I won't need to.

Roosters are a genuine premiership contender. They may be a bit flat with their origin stars but they have class across the park and they will be hard to beat.

I'm expecting a storm-like performance along with a Robson inside ball and retarded special.

Don't expect to win this one, but as long as we compete and make them ****ing work for it.

Fingers crossed though. I have more mates that are Roosters fans than I care to think about.

Whats wierd is that we havent had our top players in the team all at once for a while..and some how we are in the top 4 or 5 pending cowboys v sea eagles. BUT the top 8 is close barring the top 3. If we lose this game and the others below win then we can find ourselves at 8th. This is how important for and against is. If we truly want to cement in the top 8 this is the game.

We beat the bunnies by being tougher then them. Same game needed to beat the roosters. Is more then possible as we lift against the good sides, fingers crossed Lewis and Fifita get through.

In this game I think he should as a second rower. Don't think Peachey should play the roosters are too big.

Against the broncos he kept trying to tackle them up high. Little men need to tackle low.

Put Pom in the middle with slower men coming at him where its his strength not his agility being tested and he will go ok till we get troops back.

Thats his spot, he isnt a centre
Peach is too little to play in the backrow

Waste of an opportunity for Sopoaga. Hes ripping it in NSW cup he consistently performs well and is a big bugger

No Gallen, No Graham, No Tupou. A lot will depend on if Lewis and Fifita backs up from Origin. If they dont, our pack is going to get monstered, which will cut Carney's influence, which will expose our weakness in the backs, which means we get smashed

To me its not the game you want a rookie to come into. You want someone who is familar with the game of the blokes around him.

Maybe Poms dropping from the team was the kick he needed? Highly doubt it though. Pomeroy is a defensive liability. Something we dont need on top of other problems.

He is at centre I don't think he would be as bad on the big guys. Its the smaller quicker men that give him issue, could be wrong though he could be just plain crap everywhere.

Assuming Gallen, Graham, Tupou and Ryan are out I'd be going:

1 Gordon
2 Stapleton
3 Mills
4 J Wright
5 Feki
6 Carney
7 Robson
8 Gibbs
9 Morris
10 Ross
11 Lewis
12 Bukuya
13 Heighington

14 Fifita
15 Tagataese
16 Soponga
17 Taufua/Peachey

I'd be tempted to go the extra size with Taufua though Peachey might be good to take advantage of them while they are tired.
