Amazing how quickly some people turn on the team when they have one off game out of five.

I try not to dick ride you iron like some other people do here. But thank you for that. Its what i tried to get across to everyone when we lost to parra right after beating the roosters.

Im sick to death of it. How many people would of done a 180 on poms after tonight right after all the good press about him staying with us for less and wanting to be a shark.

No big deal that we lost to the Dragons. We're still one of the only sides to beat them at full strength this year, to do it twice is a massive ask.

We actually managed to score 2 tries against the Dragons. More than can be said for the Cowboys and Manly when they faced the Dragons and lost having crossed the line only once. Neither of them conceded as much as us (Cowboys 22 and Manly 24) but neither of them were starved of the ball for almost an entire half of football. From memory the Cowboys had a large share of possession and couldn't do anything with it until the dying minutes when JT had a go himself at the corner - for the 70-odd minutes prior even one of the best halves in the game couldn't crack them.

For a side not even in the 8 and who have had troubles scoring points in the past we did pretty good. Even with all the ball the Dragons had, the 24 points they took out of it we coughed up pretty easy in some of our worst defensive efforts since that Parra game.

Very confident we can bounce back from this.

I agree with this.

It reminded me of QLD / NSW game 3. For the points difference at the end to be only 10 it really showed that NSW were actually good at scoring points. I think you can say the same about the Sharks. In that second half putting those two tries on with heavy legs was awesome. We looked dangerous, and if we had converted those two tries it would have been 24 to 12 and mentally perhaps the boys would have held on longer.

just watched the replay of the soward "Try"

how the **** was that a try?

I was blowing up delux.

That's a knock-on any day of the week. Yeah I know it may have gone backwards but a fumble like that is always considered a knock on. He only scored the try because everyone thought it was a knock on.

That said, even if the guys thought it was knock on they should have seen it as an opportunity to drop the little piece of ****.

It sucks massive dick when you have $20 on a 3 leg multi, and the last leg of the multi is Grander vs Soward to have the equal amount of trys between each other <_<

He knocked it back but fair point that usually those get called up as knock on. Maybe cause it was in dying stages of game and result was in the bank. You wouldn't think the refs eyes are good enough to know he didn't knock it on...

In any case Sharks need to learn to play to whistle, regardless of the time or outcome in the match.

LOL Jigsaw, it's obvious the bookies got into the officials ears before the game. ;)

Is it just me or did it seem that everyone except Morris and gallen just didn't wanna be there they looked scared and unenthusiastic, there was absolutely no pressure on Jamie soward. We will win next week against the nights but we have to use these last few games to build confidence, and work on strategy and game planning. Come on sharkies I know you cab do it!

Graham and Cordoba seemed motivated. I was pretty happy with them. I wouldn't say Cordoba had a blinder but he was one of the only forwards who turned up. His try and a couple of his other runs were about the only time we werem't getting flattened by their forwards.

Morris may have wanted to be there but he made a couple of dumb decisions for mine. One stupid penalty in particular irriatated me but to be fair the game was gone by that stage.
