Yeah he does it now, but it feels like it's ad lib, not coached and not part of the plan. He also tends to roam only when we're desperate for points or behind. I'd like to see him do that as part of our structure and our game plan. So in a perfect world the halves and Ennis would bring Fifita into that role depending on what was in front of them/ where the game was at.
So, he's doing it when it is needed now, but you want him to do it when it's needed?

Just as I said.

CHOGM says that Fifita is doing it now when the game commands it but he wants the plan changed so that Fifita does it when it is necessary, which is exactly what he is saying is happening now...

There is a difference between only doing it when we are in a desperate losing position; compared to being allowed to roam when we are in a field position that would suit it.

Your argument is like saying that a person should only be given a key to the toilet after they have started to already piss themselves, as opposed to having an unlocked toilet door.

I'd agree with that👍. Seriously though, we want Fifita getting involved creatively when points are on offer, not just when we're 20 points down with 10 to go.

So what happens when Fifita gives away dumb penalties for incorrect play the ball on the first tackle. Is that like wetting your pants then realising you need to do a piss? For some reason you can train a 3 year old to go to the toilet but you cant teach a 25 year old how to play the damn ball...love these analogies.

We need Ennis to get through tmoz night. I'm confident if he plays we can go close to winning. Doubt Gal will back up. Bad ribs dodgy hammy . We have struggled against St Merge of late. Would love nothing more than to see a full house and a win on a Sunday arvo TV game.

I have a feeling Gal will play. Full house at home against The Merge, would be a hell of a game to play in.

3 full days recovery from origin, its possible.

On Fifs playing lock, I think its a good idea, and if Gal has a mortgage on 13 let him play there when Gal is out. Will still play there more often than Captain Paul. At least if Fifita was named in 13 you could put another big bopper in at front row, so that the harmen hitups aren't lost due to one of the front rowers standing out wide.

Yeah I've actually started to like Dugan a lot more. Back in his Canberra days he'd break a nail during a game and would be missing the next 2 months. These days he definitely seems to bang himself up a lot and play through injuries.

Ennis would have made a crapload of tackles tonight, I would like to see us pick a second hooker on the bench to give him a breather and rest Feki.
