I said before this game that we had more chance of winning it if gal and Lewis didn't play, and I stand by that. Not so much Lewis, but Gal seems to get in the way of as many wins as he creates. Teams are led to victory by creative players in either 6,7 or 9, not second rowers. I really hope Ennis can work with our halves next year to take control of the team.

Leaving aside the last half hour, Brown makes us enjoyable to watch again.

Brown, leutele, feki, gagan, these guys are the new breed of player, and Gallen just doesn't seem to be compatible. It's like trying to stick a tractor engine into a Ferrari. Plenty of low down grunt but it's not going to get you far.

Too much cross field running from Brown but he's only young, at least he was trying something.

At 18 nil we were calling the comeback.

Gordon got a horros bounce for uates try, but thats no excuse we have had a few of those scored on him not, needs to attack that ball like he does the high ball

That is very rough, nothing he or any other fullback could have done about that bounce.

You know what? I'm probably going to get hammered for this, but I thought Micky Gordon had a good game for the most part, safe as anything under the high ball, maybe could of got more involved in the attack, but he was ok.

The issue with Flash is always going to be his ball playing, or lack of it. He can pretty much play the same way from wing which is where he should be.

Yep. I've always liked Flash but his lack of ball playing does let him down.
Wing would be the spot.

Yep which means we get games into Holmes, push Feki to centre to see how he handles it, Jono can go back to reggies. So much better!

And if feki doesn't look great in the centres he can simply be moved back to the wing next season. It's a no brainer to get an early start on next season really by trying a few different combos in proper games not just trials played at half intensity.

It's a credit to Feki that he plays pretty well on the wing because he seems a natural centre to me. It would be worth seeing which one of Feki or Telly would be able to play centre on the other side.

Feki is one of a number of players on our roster who are really dominantly left sided. Huge left foot step, right hand fend. Has to stay on the left.

Leutele is much the same. Did OK at right centre but much more suited to the left.

I'm really keen to see Feki and Holmes given a crack in their preferred spots but its pretty easy for us to say sack x, bring in y, move z over to the other side. Its much harder for the coaches who have other things to consider and their reputations, livelihoods and the respect of their players on the line. For instance, can Holmes organize a defensive line yet? Would.he have taken the bombs Gordon too yesterday with Jeremy Smith and Mason bearing down on him? Is it worth disrupting the right side defensive unit by brining in a new centre, especially when Brown is only a rookie? Is it fair to Jono to drop him despite him playing well the last few weeks, especially given he's playing for his future? Its debate able whether Shepherd is in any position to do any of that... its not even his team.

I have always agreed Feki would play great in the centers. The reason why they don't try it IMO is that Feki and Ricky have such great chemistry together, they seem to play off each other. If you broke them up and moved one to the other side i think they both wouldn't play as good as they do now. I think maybe give Leutele another run at wing for a game, if he sucks than so be it at least we try something.
