In thought Frizell had a good game.
Shame we lose him for next year but how many backrowers do we need?

Robson let us down tonight. He was ****in ****

His long kicking game was poor as usual but a nice grubber for wade, good passing game and a good dummy in second half. Your assessment is off.

for and against is no longer an issue

Unless someone else gets a draw lol

I cant beleive we went for the 2 points the first time when we had the roosters under the pump.
IMO. Game changer. We lost that other 1 point there.

Agree what a redicolous decision. I knew when we did that we needed more than 2 points to win that game, we needed a few more tries. Sick of this negative crap, it puts us in the mindset that we need to hang on instead of beating teams convincingly. Take the tap with the roosters under the pump and who knows how the game develops from there even if we don't score a try.

Yes, we should of won that game from where we were towards the end but that is a great result for us. Missing 5 players a whole backrow and ross from the first 10mins. It still puts us into 3rd and we didn't suffer a loss which was expected with all of the players out, great result.

So good to see ricky back in firsts, reinforces my man love for him.
Toops played really well I thought, he had some extra responsibility and played really tough up the middle.
Wade did what we've come to expect and handled the captaincy as I expected.
Gibbs and fifita were HUGE last night, thanks tigers :D
Pom played great, top try from him.

Green had by far his best game as well. Was good to see.

Gibbs played close to a full game, could almost say he tookover Gallen and Jez' roles. 200+ metres and great ruck defence.

Individual performances were strong last night but we just didn't come together in attack to get us enough points to get home. Roosters didn't deserve a draw with their poor discipline but they chanced their arm and scored when they needed to. We are lucky Pierce buggered that 1st tackle field goal... Hopefully the Sharks take plenty of lessons out of this one as a collective.

Indeed I thought Green was great although someone trolled him in an earlier post. It was like everyone was playing for a FG spot last night and was full of enthusiasm.

Green reminds me off a smaller version of Chris Beaty, not much skills but stocky with some impact.

oh yeah I forgot about green, he was really good and often dragged the defenders along for a few metres and made plenty of tackles. He and gibbs are very very similar players in the way they defend. imo he should be considered over taufua just for his defense, taufua has a slightly better running game.

Josh, Taufua has been consistantly good in defense though... hard to drop him on one good game from Green

Yep but green hasn't been given any opportunity imo. Taufua has had alot more chance to impress whilst imo green will play like that consistently, his defense will always be like that.

Green defends like gibbs, not much defensive impact but he gets through a stack of work. Taufua provides a little more impact in defense but imo green sures up the middle alot and would be great for when both jez and gibbs are off the field.

Green doesn't seem like the sort of player to go that extra mile against former clubs but who knows. Don't see Flanno dropping Taf

I'm still pissed we are losing Frizzell, he should have played more first grade games than he has but so I don't blame him.

On Green he was once again very solid, it's great to have someone like him that can come in whenever we need him.

I would prefer Chad to Robson but I'm not sure it's the best time to do it.

It's a hard one, even Chad lovers have to admit Robson hasn't done enough bad to be dropped. We can't go experimenting at this time of year really, but I would love to see a Chad/Carney combo. I think it's the most balanced combination we could do.

I guess if Robson does stay in the side as a utility then it's not that harsh and worth trying. It'd only suck for Morris really.

Tough one.

Was at the game. Not a bad crowd for a Monday night, well done to those that made the effort.

Watching Storm Canberra on the W/E, showed how a team can be disrupted by losing a couple of key players. And it wasn't just the skills, experience etc of those missing, it changed the whole mindset of the rest of the team. Storm were terrible & so un-storm like. Sharks could have gone the same way & glad they aimed up.

While the result could have gone either way, Sharks were the better team with a good penalty count & more possession yet obviously plenty to work on this week.

I have been keen to see more of Chad in first grade but let's face it Robson has been one of our better players this season. We can't just ditch him when he has one poor game. I do think Chad is our long term half but so I'm a bit on the fence here.

Much better way of saying what I was thinking.

mmmm yeah the disruption would be an issue for sure, perhaps next year id really ike to see Chad/Carney next year!!

i like Morris but i dont think he brings much to the team really, id probs rather Robson at hooker than morris, kinda wish Morris was a better player cos i like the bloke

also Robson and Carney are leading the stats in the nrl for forced dropouts from grubbers, i think his grubber kicking game could be really advantageous from hooker

having three players that can force dropouts is better than 2 i dont think De Gois is great at grubbers, Carney/Chad and Robson can all do good grubbers
