Have watched the highlights reel of this game at least 6 times. :)

In regards to Wade's shoulder in the in goal it looks like he knocks on/rebounds off his fore arm after ball comes loose anyway. Anyone else notice this?

In your head, rent free
i think the penalty was bull****, but the shot from pritchard on graham and simo, plus teo's, shows that this is the only thing in the nrl they are being consistant with

I wasn't a fan of the penatly either but I can understand NRL wanting to reduce contact with head but needs some flex in the intepretation and context. The ball carrier burried head down somewhat. In the field of play that used to be let go if the player dropped his head into the arm or shoulder.

Anyways I think Graham knocked it on anyways.

If I was an inbred Queenslander I'd say he wasn't playing at it.

The ref pointed to the spot blew his whistle. He then changed his mind and went to the video ref.

Someone told him to check it. He was standing in front of Graham when it happened.

Out of all this I think they need to change the way the video ref is used. Would like to see the video ref used only when requested by the ref.

I don't think the video ref should be used to tell the ref what has happened, unless the ref asks for it.

I would also like another person in the video ref box who is responsible for decisions made by the video ref. They should also have to explain why they came up with the decision they have.

There is no accountablity for video refs and no transparency in the decision making process.

The video ref is not the eye in the sky helping refs make decisions. They should only be used to support a decision the ref has made.

I think refs should make a call then the video ref can confirm or change the call they have made.

The way the review system works in the cricket is much better.

I'll watch replay again tonight but I'm certain the ball is propelled off someone after Hoff drops it.

I agree except for the last part. Once a Ref makes a call the vid ref should not interfere. Likewise the video ref should not intervene unless called upon by the Ref himself. The vid ref is there to support the ref and decisions not adjuticate the game in primary.

Watching it now, it looks like that on one angle but the other angle he gets no where near it. It's a try

It came off Hoffman, Wade didnt touch it all all.. Beside the point though, they werent even looking at that. Last year that would have been a try. They have taken away all responsibility from the player, dont get your head in a position to get it knocked off.

Hoffman should have been sent off for head butting Grahams elbow. Imagine if he hit his funny bone?

i think there should be a camera in the video ref room and he should talk us through his decision, this would make the decision
process more transparent and more exiting to watch.

Just heard that both Jeremy and Wade can play this weekend with early guilty pleas. Can't believe Wade was reported for that.

shot of the year mate, but i felt it was a penalty straight away.

not that it should of been, just from previous incidents

Yep when badge pointed to the spot I thought we got away with it but once he went upstairs I knew we were ****ed.

It'll be on the highlights reel along with his other shot and poms shot on Glenn.

And he will get off anyway so all is good in the end.
