55 minutes in, we are 22-0 down and Ben Hunt is butt raping us, we created some fantastic chances with our variation around the ruck and our ball movement, but couldn't find that final pass or kick to finish it off........but then.......it happened, cross field kick, Gagan catches it and scores..........delirium in the shire........ But then, the floodgates opened, Gal crashes over 22-12, Toddy slides through a gap, 22-18.........then with five to go, bomb is put up, Sharks chases come steaming in like their lives depended on it, under pressure, Copley spills it, Feki picks it up and crosses to complete the greatest comeback in the history of the universe!!! Cue mass celebration in the shire, nay around the WORLD! Everywhere except 99% of Brisbane. Rejoice for the Sharks, against all odds have prevailed and shall return to the lands of the Shire, heroes among men, and for I, CrazyMatt, will be eternally greatful because they won me $48.50.........from the evil Sportingbet empire.

That my friend is what happened this evening.....

Golden report, truth spoken eloquently

I take back all the mean things I said.... that win was inspirational. We could of easily rolled over and give everyone more ammo to hammer us with, I bet the papers already had their smartass headlines ready to go... we play with that much heart for the rest of the year theres no way we get the spoon.

Wow, what an effort!

I loved how we changed things up in the first half. We decided to play more expensive footy but didn't have the class, or more importantly the confidence to execute and we making basic mistakes. It was frustrating to watch but at least we were trying something different. I got the feeling all throughout that first half if we can just get over the line our confidence will improve. Going into the sheds at 22-0 I gave us no hope, but still believed if that first try came we could score 2 or 3.

A brilliant kick from Toddy to put Gagan in and we were away! Still can't believe we won that.

Lichaa really impressed me last night, he finally started to show why he's been hyped up for a while. Some nice scoots from dummy half, drew Hunt beautifully to put Toddy over. Generally took all the right options last night.

Flash. Apart from the dropped bomb played his bum off. Strong running, bobbed up everywhere, supported well. There's no reason why he can't play like that from a wing. If Holmes plays FB as well as we all hope the backline will look that little bit stronger.

Toddy. Welcome back mate. Once he starts taking the line on a bit more, look out.

Nu Brown. Some nice scoots from dummy half, defends well. I like him.

This has to be the most pathetic write up I have ever read and should be slammed with complaints. It barely mentions anything positive about the sharks. Check it out. I'm disgusted. http://www.news.com.au/sport/nrl/the-sharks-have-beaten-the-broncos-2422-at-suncorp-stadium/story-fndv2w3r-1226969493049

LOL!!! That was obviously written by a sore Bronco fan dirty about the outcome of the game and unwilling to give credit to the Sharks for their effort. I notice that he/she did not even submit their name to the 'News of the World' and the literary quality of the article indicates that the person is not even a recognised reporter.

Having said that, our record this year gave him/her plenty of ammunition to work with.

We did play well though...for a change.

Im sick of that ****! We get it the most but there is other teams too. You win......its all about the other team.
The only real mention for us was the fact we went 4 whole games without a point (54th minute vs tigers-54th minute vs broncos). Everything else was about the broncos.

Heres the real news. Broncos CHOKE losing a 22 point lead to the worst team in the comp.

Theres somethin about a friday night win that makes ya weekend great

I was callin for todds head in the first half. But a try and 3 assists....couldnt have won with a holdsworth/robson duet

Sharpie should use some of these "Articles" to fire up the players more every week.

"Look boys, we still cop crap from the media even after a great fighting come from behind win! Let's ensure we keep this energy and aim up in our last 9 - 10 games and put these dead ****e journo's in their place!"

It is even more motivation for the boys.

Its the sorta win the team needed. Not a grind out win, not a thrashing. But setting a club record come back is what makes players have belief.
