A rumour doing the rounds is that Lewis told the coach that he has the *****s because he came to win a premiership and is sick and tired of running the ball up and getting smashed. This guy is one of the toughest players of the modern era but it makes you wonder.
Well, why doesn't he do it then?

I'd be very surprised if that was the way it was worded, if he did make that complaint at all.He hasn't even been playing.

He is a second rower, it's kinda expected that you will get smashed.

I'm sure we could play him out in the centres if he doesn't want to do the heavy lifting. It would probably be better for the team anyway.

Lewis has always been a roaming ball player, not a gallen type bust it up the middle and eat metres
Guess that's a big part of the reason we're not getting the best out of him. In a team lacking creativity would be nice to see lewis given that type of role.

We have Lewis, and Graham that play best in that role. Gallen and Heino play similar run hard and eat metres. Throw Toops in for his offloads we still have a very handy back row, we ust dont have the creative halves giving them quality ball with room to move. And a coach that can't coach creative attacking football

my issue with our structure of play, is there is too ****ing much of it

why do we have to have carney attack one side and robbo the other? that ****s me to tears

jt and the real halves, whilst they set up one side, roam the field and play both

anyone watch DCE destroy the dogs? set up a try for matai on the left with a nice grubber kick and a scoop up and offload

next set, big dummy on the right and he gives it to hiku to score

our structure is the reason we run out of space, and phil bailey junior clogs leutele's side

the only play who played with no structure on the weekend was gards, and he added a new dimension of attack, problem was, the angles and structures we ran, apart form being ****, gave him no room to work with

Agree completely. With our club structure is the goal. With the smart clubs structure is a means to create points.

Our club lacks vision for where the game is going and how attacking football will develop. We seem to just copy what worked 5 years ago with no regard to what will work next year. It would be great to see someone at the club actually showing foresight.

They have to play Brown this game. Either at 7, which I can't see happening, or in Degois' spot on the bench. No point in Lichaa playing another first grade game.

Yep how often do we play a 6-7 first-second receiver play.

Note: carney plays right side. When he scores a try, quite often its on the left.

While we might stand structured, we don't seem to move in a structured fashion. Other teams have decoys running through at angles and a couple of options. We just have a guys standing in a line that are shocked when they actually receive the ball.

Will we score a try against Manly?

This is my son Andrew celebrating scoring a try under the posts at Shark Park the other day when we dropped in.

Actually it's the first try I've seen scored there by a Sharks player or fan since Michael Gordon scored against the Tigers back in Round 10...

Pretty impressive considering he had to run straight upwards on a 90 degree angle while fighting gravity

First of many, many more to come I hope Chad.
Sign him up Sharpie. At least he can find the try line.
Which is more than I can say for some of our backline.
Yes I'm looking at you Mr Ayshford and Mr Wright!
