I say it should have been sent upstairs, it could have gone either way. But should have been given a look. Gal was claiming quite adamentely it was a try, a few of the other boys were also claimng it was on the line, another decision that was overlooked i say because it was us and not another glamour club in the same position. If Hayne or Slater, or Lockyer for that matter were claiming a try what would the decision have been?

Exactly. 100% agreed , if it was any other team, Refs wouldve gone upstairs, but no, as usual, sharks are ripped off.

Refs these days! Gosh.

it was right in front of me at the game, and lets just say archer copped the biggest spray ever over it. he has always been a joke.

Regardless of whether its a try or not the ref HAS to go upstairs if a player thinks he got it down. Another case where if its anyone else the ref doesn't think twice.

just remembering if this hasnt already been said but tony archer made this decision----the games best referee?????

It was one of the many examples of the Dragons being a protected species. They got the rub of the green in so many games because of refs reluctance to upset Bennett. The result of that game was determined before the kickoff, they expected us to lose and it showed in their refereeing.
