Good win.

I parked in the parking lot for the first time yesterday night. I didnt pay the 10-15 dollars. The attendants looked into my car, saw something and said "youve paid already". Not sure what was going on lol

On a side note did anyone see Nathan Gardner walk in wearing a suit? was it just me
He might of changed.
He was there when the gates open wearing his training gear leaving the HPU heading back towards the change rooms.

In the first half I think we did just enough to stay with the Eels, it was a bit of a concern going into the break.

The second period after another Flanno spray the boys were on fire, this is how we like to see the Sharks play.
Great ball work, many options, hard hits and the players and fans loved it.

Parramatta didn't know what to do.

Also I know it was the members round for us but we're both teams playing for the Johnny Mannah Cup ?

You're always so forgiving Gil. I thought our first half was one of the worst displays I ve seen all year.
Agree on second half though, was good.

haha, I just call things the way I see them, while some may not agree......lol..........but thats life.

At the end of the day the second half was better than the first and it got us the win.

Some have better games than others, but I'll continue to support them all as long as they are in the BW&B

I park in the car park next to the one with the attendants. In front of the training field or whatever park it is. It's free and basically a difference of about 100 metres. Can be tough getting a park on a busy night but plenty of cars find creative solutions.

I'm not too sure but did I see Snowman on the stage at some point? My memory is a bit dodgy today.

You didn't imagine that. He and other members were presenting players with awards. We even talked about it together lol

Just finished watching a replay of the game. Well, the second half that is. Couldn't bring myself to watch the first half again. It was painful enough the first time.

Having said all that, if we were to play every game like we did in the second half, then look out all other teams. Yes, I know it was Parra and they are coming last and they are vastly different to the top four sides. But we just dominated so much it wasn't funny. Actually we really should have notched up a few more tries.

Who played well? Beau for mine was outstanding. He was in everything and was a more than able replacement for Flash. I'm still not convinced about Feki but I liked Stapo's effort tonight but unfortunately he can be hot and cold. Liking J Wright more with every game. Ran well and defended stoutly.

Carney showed some better glimpses of what he's capable of, but he had plenty of room to move. He won't get that much latitude against the top teams. Looked like he really wanted to take control of the game.

In the engine room Gal was unbelievable. I thought he was a bit flat in the first half and again tried to do too much, but in the second half he played like should do - run straight, eat up the metres and let the backs do the work. Probably just shaded Beau for MOM, but only because he's high profile.

Thought Fifita was a bit quiet tonight. Lewis was all class. Toops had some nice touches and the rest did well.

Good to have the bye now to rest up. Lets hope our boys get through Origin and we play like this for the 80 mins against the Cowboys.

His tackle on Matt Ryan a few metres out from the line, textbook fullback tackle, one of the greats.

I honestly don't think he can improve. He just doesn't get attacking football. Nor can he be trusted to nurture and improve talented youngsters. Look no further than the robson re-signing and the heighington contract. Who would you rather over the next two years, an aging heighno or bakuya entering his prime?

For all the kudos he gets for recruitment there is a significant downside as well.

+1 It appears no one else has a problem with letting go Bukuya and probably Peachey for Heighington. I'll be damned if there isn't a ****load more upside for Bukuya and Peachey. Heighington was a great player in his prime - but I see him as nothing more than a stats man these days. Our problem has always been attack. Who has a better chance of breaking the line Heighington or Bukuya?

I am still not happy about bukuya. But i do recognize we can't keep everybody and he is in a position we have abundant talent in.

I don't ever think he was great, he's been a solid first grader for sometime, I don't mind him, he's good for the team & the club.

Cant compare heighington and bukuya. Different players that play in different parts of the field and are used in a different way. Compare bukuya to graham and heighno to tupou.
