In the same Boat, Broncos fans always giving ****.
Deep down I know most of there fans are fragile and would stop going to games if they weren't wining.

But it's Hard having passion for this Team, but it's there!
My passion comes from the connection I have with my dad.
In fact other than the fact I have family, The Sharks were the biggest bond my dad and I had. He's been gone since '99 and to be honest, barring a moment or two since then it has all been s$&t.
Started with C Anderson and looks like it may finish with Flanagan. All I've been hearing all afternoon is 'BASKET CASE' on the radio. It's hard being a Sharky but there is no other and never will be.
I just want to see a better performance than yesterday when we meet again. One with pride in the jersey.

Mate I an as loyal as they come, Born in Gosford lived in NSW for only 2 yrs then the family moved to the Sunshine Coast. Still I'm a massive Blues fan, and Hate Queensland when it comes to State if Origin.

Don't know why as a Kid I picked the Sharks but I have stayed True for all these years, but Lately it's been hard, I guess like most Sharkies fan we are optimistic and just want to have light at the end of the tunnel.

For a lot of us the Tunnel is mighty long.

Still one Day will be ours, and would love nothing more to sing Up Up with you guys

Been loyal since 1977 as a ten year old.

Getting tired of figuratively banging my head against a brick wall supporting this club for so many years.

More so in the last ten years of watching us trying to grind out our wins.

I even grind my teeth these days while I do the daily grind of going to work to pay the bills.

My joints are grinding bone on bone as I get older and my cartilage thickness decreases.

Maybe, just maybe if our game plan changes and the players co-ordinate with each other better, my body might start feeling the same way.

We didn't really try to grind a win out of the Dragons we simply just played **** and with no clue

There's more depth and ball movement than there used to be with this team but our execution and structure is almost non existent

As a Sharks supporter you get used to loosing. It builds character. What annoys me is that in a year and a half of NRL we have scored 30 points or more in 1 possibly 2 games. This side in attack is slow and boring.

Disgraceful effort / no idea on the paddock / no pride in the jersey and all this in a derby.. Time to go Flanagan..

That's what frustrates me the most. Especially following the passion we saw in the 9s. Seriously throw the whole 9s squad out there and get them playing for each other, even if we get flogged at least it might be entertaining.

I think it fell apart for Flanno when the players accepted the guilty plea deal from Asada. The whole foundation of his coaching prowess, the ability to create a solid, loyal team with the Flanno faith, evaporated.

If I were once of those players, and probably if I were one of their team mates, i'd feel he let them down.

I'm sure the ASADA stuff didn't help but I think it all fell apart for Flanno when it all fell apart for Carney tbh.

I blame the Warriors for not upping the anti, when they chased him many moons ago... Should have doubled their offer... Teams chasing flanno rekin those days are well and truly over.

Yep, that was a real stuff up too.. Another popular player perceived to have been let down.

Didn't really mean it in that way. More that Carney was what made 2013 a good year. As soon as Carney was gone Flanno had problems. Well, more problems.

Do you feel we could be unfit compared to other clubs ?
Is that the reason we tanked in the 2nd half after trying to play expansive footy for the first 20 minutes of the game ( for a welcome change ) as well as giving away many stupid penalties also .
Other teams seem to be able to run advanced and simple attacking ploys ALL game long and NOT run out of petrol .
Perhaps Robbo prefers to save his energy for defense ONLY .

We have an abundance of character us Sharks supporters. Just need some credibility to go with it now...

This isn't the first game of the year we came out of the gates firing like a raging bull only to start petering away after 20 mins or so

Tough to play high intensity grinding football week in week out without it taking it's toll as we play quite a physical game style but yes we did look gassed in second half and maybe a few blokes fitness isn't where it should be. Again this is down to coaching staff to sort out. We are halfway through the season so there's plenty of games yet to be played. Energy levels isn't the reason we can't execute plays though and even buggered players would put in the extra effort if they gave a toss about the result

But to play the style of incompetent amateur footy we generally do, we really need to be the fittest team in the comp by far to have a chance
