I believe that cronulla can beat Broncos next week as we weren't doing just the 1 off runs but we were passing it further out which enabled us to gain at least 50 metres in a set. i believe that a few boys had great games tonight with hardly any mistakes.
Trent Barrett- is finally starting to play pretty well for the sharks
Paul Gallen- well what can u say when a bloke makes 26 hit ups for 208 metres and 32 tackles
Douglas and Snowden- strong in attack with 19 hit ups a piece
Anthony Tupou- is finally getting more involved and probably his best game of the year
Nathan Gardiner- shows great promise and will probably be the sharks fulltime fullback
Paul Aiton- plays really well when the forwards are dominating the opposition and played extremely well tonight

It is incredibly important that we do whatever we can to pack out Toyota Stadium next week.

We need to fill the joint and get it rockin'

Spread the word.

Agreed, however my strategy for doing so may not be what the $ crunchers would agree with!

I'd like to see the Club get on the phone over the next 2-3 days to every sponsor and ask them to chuck in a little bit extra for this game so the gates can be opened FOC.

It wouldn't hurt to chase a few one off sponsors either.

Every part of the spectator areas opened up except for reserve seating/corporate boxes etc.

It is of huge importance to the Club's future that the Sharks win this game... A packed parochial house will go a long way to help achieve that.

It wouldn't hurt to have a spattering of BELIEVE Campaign posters on show, as well as a banner competition.

A polite word in to the ears of the food and beverage vendors wouldn't go astray either :glasses-cool:.

A the very least, asking the punters to pay what they feel is a fair amount (min $5) for entry would be a way to go... Nothing stopping the Club having a few 'collectors' stationed at every exit point .

Jim Bob you are such a tool .
Why in the hell would you change a winning side .

Thats right you are a Pomeroy supporter.

I never said we should change a winning side i asked what do YOU (sharks forever lads) think we should do. Incase you haven't noticed a lot of people aren't happy with Tautai and i wanted to see whether or not they would have him in next weeks side.

And yes you could call me a 'Pomeroy Supporter' because i think he plays good football, but i wouldn't putt him into a consecutive winning side.

^^
I hope I'm still not a tool for saying that

defineately stick with the same side, the team now looks like it has a nice balance across the park.
Everyone make sure you get out and support the boys on saturday night we should be looking to get big crowd after a great win last night.

I remember people sticking the boot into Collis as well as Toups over the last weeks some of you guys are at about the same level as the NSW selectors :fergo:.

Tautai made some errors and he will make some more and I am sure he will be made aware of them and they will be worked on if the Kick had been a try you guys would all be leaving him alone yes he has been caught out of position in attack and not running the correct lines at times and this could be becuase he has been working on his defence we cant be sure but his defence was much better this week then last.

When he does get it right he has the size and speed to break a tackle and get passed that little white line at the other end of the park.

Lets see how things roll over the next two weeks.

Yeah although we won and although he played better this week i'd still swap Tautai for Stapo... Tautai still managed to drop the ball with the try line begging and kick the ball on the first when Flash Gordon (or Joaquin Pheonix as I can't help but call him because I thought he looked like him on his first game).

I reckon we might just see Poms in for Tautai.

putting the call out now.... who is going and where is everyone meeting, would like to meet up with everyone

We usually meet about 10 min to go in the Toyota cup in front off the Peter Burns stand at the bar entrance, just near the bay 10 sign.

Poms in for Tautai would be good.

Tautai seems to make Pomeroy style mistakes without making those awesome runs Pomeroy is capable of.

Pomeroy used to be one of our best players and I just hope that the problems of late have been related to his injury and confidence and he can come back and be a solid first grade centre again. It really is the only problem in our team at the moment, that centre position.

A half-injured. low on confidence Stapo isn't the right guy to try and handle Folau. I'm happy for Pom's to come back if he gets a good week or training in with the boys and learns not to get in Smith and Tupou's way with his runs.

I used to think a Collis/Pomeroy centre combination would be just about ideal... I have since changed my mind.
