Gordon was good but his height is an issue. He could not out jump his man to cover the 2bombs in a row down his side in the 2nd half. He was against Izzie which is hard in itself but like the Panthers, our short blokes may get found out under the high ball. I was thinking last night that if Cov was on that wing he would have been able to out jump his man in defence and take his world famous 2 hand aussie rules style mark. I know people say Cov is slow but his defence is great and we needed some of that on the wing last night.

for the first time since his injury I thought 'cov would be useful now'. I'm sure Gordo will be fine though, he is only young and Izzy puts most people to shame in those contests. He did enough to disrupt it once, shame the penalty went against us (which was complete balls).
For me the biggest disappoint was how much we lost by considering we looked pretty competitive. Second biggests disappointment was Timmy's game but I'm far from calling from his head yet. Biggest pros were Tupou really firing up and the team really muscling up in D for patches like they used to in 08, especially after that penalty goal

Yeh, like i said. It was a positive display. We did most things right and everyone played well bar rather poor displays and decisions from Tim Smith and Tautai. A quality and form halves and centre won it for broncos on the night. Cause of this we lost 20-4 instead of won 30-14.

Taitai's hands really let him down and his tendency to do silly kicks annoys me! He was good in defence tho. Still would like to see Matt Wright or someone given a go out there soon.
Smith needs to pick him self up abit. If he cant perform next week maybe he needs a little stint out again and Lewis or Kelly should get a run.

Encouraging to see Cuthbo getting great consistent performances. bar that one soft tackle, though still Douglas should have rapped him up easy for that try, in no was a result of cuthbo's tackle.

it was in every way a result of cuthbo's tackle, watch it again, lazy arm grab

Dissapointed with the loss. Comin down from Queensland for it I was super hoping for a win. Gardner is going to be such an awesome fullback. I think Tautai's problem is that he runs incredibly soft. He's a massive unit and if he pinned the ears back and use his weight in his runs, he'd actually be a damaging ball runner.

Face is a bit sore though after getting king hit by some ****wit Broncos supporter.

Yeah Murph, great to meet you to mate. Good effort to make the trip out from Cranebrook. Hope to catch up with you again soon.

Ah like on the 20-30 meter line on the end we were attacking in the second half. Where the CSSC was I'm pretty sure lol.

Haha, you must have been blind Wilson, old chum. You were sitting next to me for most of the second half...remember? :drunk You must have had a few before you got to the game 'cos you wee telling me the cops breath tested you on the way in!! LOL! That must be a first!

Anyway mate, don't know if you remember but I was there just after you got hit and tried to catch the Bronc's loser that clocked you but he did a runner out the Eastern gates and I lost him in the crowd. Hope you got home (or wherever you went after that!) OK.

Anyway mate, thanks for coming down. Hope next time is not such a bad night for you. Nice to meet ya, champ!:cheers

Yet from what I saw of Sunday Roast, Gould alongside MG, Voss and that other little rat all were having a good laugh about the position the Sharks are currently in.

Yeah I saw that.
That little lap dog Ek, Pk, Tk, Kt or what ever his name is
was saying how the Sharks would not be missed if they weren't there next year and the comp would be better etc.

He thinks he is funny..He couldn't get a laugh if the audience all had laughing gas.

I want him to say the same thing in front of the Sharks players next game, instead of hiding behind his crayons and view master.
