Another thing too, the suits that want to move all games in Sydney to big mega stadiums need to attend matches like last night. As if that stadium at homebush would ever be able to replicate the atmosphere of last night.

was the crowd last night 10 g and if that was 1000 souths fan then the supporter base is 9000 i thought our supporter base was bigger than this and if these mega stadiums are home to opposition teams like souths the crowd would be bigger and all the profit would be sharkies

I hate Souths playing at ANZ if that makes any sense.
And you cannot take away the atmosphere from any suburban ground.
That's what they were built for.

im only coming from a money point of view and a chance of having more people at the game ,i agree if on a sunny arvo shark park attracts 12 thousand in a twenty odd ground

the atmosphere would be heaps better than 20 thousand in a eighty odd ground ,with anz putting up cash to pay us to play there as a business i thought it would be common sense to play our games there

Dude the crowd was over 12k and you can't say our base is only 9,000. It was a Monday night game in terrible weather. Plenty of fans would have stayed home or not been able to make it after work ect

Big Stadium would mean less crowd cause people don't wanna pay their money to sit in a mostly empty stadium with zero atmosphere.

Shark Park is da bomb for watching footy out. Plus why give up our genuine home ground advantage for trying to earn a little extra cash on the side.

Lower crowds and less "home game" wins each season ultimately means we lose money and supporters

interview with toddy and talking the game, good listen, they wrap us about our song singing with ALL the fans knowing the words. love it....
also they mentioned that the players stood in a huddle at full time for a few minutes and it was Todd who took charge. Seems to have matured allot since joining us and its great to have him locked up for the next 5 years

people have **** on on sundays sometimes. entire families could be rendered unavailable if one of their twerp kids has a ****ty birthday party to attend. i'd hardly say we're struggling for numbers at home games this year, we seem to be hitting the 12k consistently which is an improvement on previous years.

also noted how they said how hard fifita trained in the offseason, working out everyday, doing more than what was asked and losing his "slack" tag at training....

Things from the game.

* I think it was Taga who went off for treatment on the sideline and no one came on to sub him (1 man down) and Souths scored, why do that when we are defending right on our line.
* Beau rushing in field during the game leaving his wing wide open. Maybe a concern
* Hearing Fifita call out (F yeah) after getting that penalty for being taken out. The guy is weapon.

And I wish the refs would stop blowing their nose, you can hear it very clearly with them sports ears.

Pretty sure he made it back on just after the scrum mate. It was 13 on 13 when the bunnies scored.

Apparently the rule is you can't do a blood bin sub at a scrum but they let us do it when degois went of for jmo
In the second half.. Very strange

Did the players make it to the fence in front of the Peter Burns Stand and actually make contact with the fans there or did they stay behind the advertising hoardings and clap their hands?

It was right in front me, bunnies pushed out to the left as we had two on the sideline (one being treated one waiting to go on), The 13 player may have taken two steps on the field, After they scored the sub moved into position>
I can't think of who sub Taga.

I didn't know about that rule BRM
