Didn't see game. How'd Fif go? Any injuries out of game. Sounds like Lewis went ok

I was happy with his game in general. He didn't give away any penalties and didn't stuff up any play the balls but tried hard to niggle Myles and thought he was going to cop it from the ref.

Didn't make the metres he did last week and didn't use his fend but ran hard up the middle.

I thought Bird had done his neck when he was caught in a crusher tackle then he looked like he'd done his groin a bit later but then seemed okay after that.

The form of Lyons/Matai/Hodges/Morris/Walker has been pretty questionable this year as well though. All of them have been battling injury all year. 0_o

Beale is a better left centre than Leutele. You've mentioned Gagan who can't get through half a game without tweaking a hammie, he is an irrelevant player at the moment.

As you mentioned most of those centre's have not be been up to par this season due to injury and Gagan himself is is still coming back from injury. My point is that most centre's on their day produce a hell of a lot more than Beale does

Fair dinkum I must have watched a different game to some of you blokes , I thought we were deadset terrible it just so happened the Titans were worse . in a couple of patches we defended well but our attack is woeful , all that time camped in the 20 and we couldn't get across the stripe. Bird is overplaying his hand running cross field all the time , our kicking game is disgusting , no other word for it ,our attack is predictable and again stupid penalties again costing us , any other team would have put a few points on us tonight , and again to almost the lose the match in the dying minutes , FMD , yeah take the 2 points but geeze don't think we have turned a corner FFS , the bye will beat us next week

THIS! THIS! F$&@ING THIS! We are playing boring crappy footy. The days of these blokes and of those in 1978 were exciting. Not this rubbish we are dishing up from this coach and his halfback. Val Holmes is the biggest breath of fresh air in a decade and Bird has loads of potential. The future is bright but the footy is boring. We are not a top 8 side with the crap we are dishing up.
I was flicking footy cards for a win back in 1978 but all things considered I think the team is heading in the right direction. We aren't the broncos of 92-93 by any means but we have to start somewhere.

Bird, Gagan, Holmes, Barba. We have to start somewhere and it isn't all bad IMO.

Got it spot on there mate!! For me it doesnt matter how we win as long as its a win!! There are always positives in every game! Holmes is a gun!! tags had a better game apart from his offload on our 20, he should have just taken the hit up.

I got annoyed by the ground announcer today, I reckon purposely pronouncing Fifitas name wrong to annoy the away fans!! Anyone else think the same? Surely they would know how to pronounce it properly hahaha.

So I read Titans finished the game with only 1 player avalible on the bench, and we still barely won. Sheesh

That doesnt mean much though. Myles went off at about the 70th minute so they actually got a free interchange for him. Injuries aside going into the last 10, they had a fresh side on the field

I think people have been getting carried away with our performance last night. Many areas do need improving. But we werent ****, and it wasnt a grinding win.
We were robbed a try, and they were gifted a try
We came from 12 down to be in front late in the game
Most of our tries were manufactured (except homes second but it still came off a good kick).
Barba played his best game for us, Ayshford wasnt bad either. Holmes fifita and lewis were all massive too.
For a team needing a win we got it. Hardly a premiership threatening performance bt its 2 points and i guess the best way to learn some lessons

Oh yeah Everton I enjoyed the win but gee the titans could mount a very similar argument about key players being not available , not to mention the disruptions they faced this season , not to mention they finished with only 14 players .

Love the 2 points but FMD we were woeful save for Louie and Holmes at times.

Apart from Bird, who were they missing?

Great that we won, fantastic. I admit I had written the Sharkies off, but I'll eat my words :)

Otherwise, LOTS of improvement from this game. Number one is Robson has to go, this win unfortunately has kept him in the side.
