Comment: Ben Barba and Jeff Robson are confirmed as the halves pairing. Michael Gordon and young gun Valentine Holmes are set to share the fullback duties - as they did at the back end of last year. We haven’t found a backline spot for Jack Bird, but he is in contention following a stunning showing at the Nines. New recruit Michael Ennis slots straight into hooker and is likely to play 80 minutes, with no bench utility named. Luke Lewis (knee) is battling an ongoing injury, but he is a certain starter for round one if fit.

Ricky will talk all off season to his team on how important for/against is going to be, so after 5 min of play with scores still tied on nil, Canberra will be camped on our 10m line after a repeat set, jack wrighton will look up to the coaches box and Ricky will signal to go for the 1 point.. The other 2 will be after the siren while our players are doing interview.

The above implies he might be out.

He pulled it last week against Manly, though thought I read somewhere afterwards that he'd likely still be ok for rnd 1.
Doesnt help that our website (unlike most other teams) doesnt have an injury list, and the NRL still shows last years....

Is it easy enough to get to shark park from airport and I was thinking of getting the 10pm flight home will that give me enough time? Think we kick off at 6

Kick off is 6:30. 10pm flight would be just enough time if you left as soon as the game ended.

I reckon that's cutting it fine. Game probably won't start at 6:30 on the dot so may not finish until 8:30. 10-15 minute walk to Woolooware station, change trains to get an airport train.

I did something similair for UFC 110 in sydney. Hire a driver to pick you up. They're a little pricey but they will get you where you need to be at the time you need to be there. And they've always got slick rides.

Working on a plan B, ditching the kids and flying solo, told em we will stay in the city couple of weeks later when the Sharks are down v storm.. Even more pumped now .. I know someone linked a few hotels close by once on a thread can't find it...
