jamesbob is martysharks brother, they are tim smith groupies

Your actually completely wrong there. MattyShark is a Tim Smith groupie, yes but I actually hate Tim Smith. I just don't see what all of you are seeing in Kelly. He was a horrible 5/8 again the Raiders. I watched the game again, and the only time I noticed him was when we were in the opposition 20, other than that nothing. He seemed to only want to get the ball when we were close to the line and let Wade do everything else. There was actually a point in the game when they were spreading it out to the backs for a set play and Kelly wasn't even in it! Isn't that the 5/8's job? I would rather Smith over Kelly, yes, only because Smith gets involved where as Kelly dose not. I think Smith with Graham would be an outstanding halves pair. Maybe even give Townsand get a crack.

save your money, you were on oxfam salaries, you need it more than me

It sucks being of indeterminate ethnicity and nationality at times, yeah, but every morning when I feel confused I look at myself in the mirror and say, "You know what? At least I'm not a whining Pom."

Smith gets involved by screwing everything up.

Im not sure what you expect kelly to do when players are dropping it doing basic hit ups on the 3rd tackle, not even allowing him to have oppertunities. The fact is when he actually got those oppertunities and we did complete our sets he played well. Graham was predominatly used for the longer kicks and kelly was used more when we were closer to the line.

The making of a good combination.

I missed the game live and watched it today for the first time and wanted to ask a question. What exactly did Albert Kelly do to get the SharksForever man of the match? I didn't notice him once until he set up that ball to Gardner and then get knocked out. I thought Graham deserved it. He got involved and defended well.

I haven't read all the other posts because there's over a thousand so someone please elaborate.

Again it's hard for me to judge anyone individually after such a bad team performance but Graham just didn't appear to do anything. Maybe I missed something in my anger but he seemed just as bad as everyone else.

I have not been one of the people praising Kelly until now but I thought he and Snowden were the only ones to rip in at all. Both tried hard in defence and Kelly looked dangerous in attack a couple of times but admittedly if you removed his performance and added it to any other game this round he would not have stood out there. It was mainly because he was a bit above average when the team was inept.

Yeah, exactly. Same goes for Graham. The halves usually wont get their hands on the ball until the 4th or 5th tackle. Since we rarely got to the 4th or 5th, there wasn't really much for them to do.

As others have correctly pointed out, you're halves aren't gonna do much if the team is struggling to make it past play 3 without coughing it up. Difficult to rate anyone from that game outside the first 15-20mins of play, but almost impossible to judge the halve's and their ability with ball in hand.

Tim Smith at his very best would not have changed the result on Sunday.

Either way its no time to be making many (if any) changes to the side, especially in the halves.

I was quite happy with Cordoba. He ran hard and fast. Mannah was lackingbut I think he will improve.
