No confidence atm which is in stark contrast to how I felt after the Easts win.

So in other words - your opinion changes weekly.

No reason why it wont change again this week with a good win.

We'd better win this one, and convincingly too. Otherwise, our premiership defence will start to look a lot like South's one in '15.

There's no need to panic yet, a top 2 finish is still a good possibility, but it's about time they put their money where their mouth is. No more talk, no more coasting. Just do the damn job! Especially since we're going to face a few of our direct rivals for the top spots.

The tripe we were forced to watch against Manly and Gold Coast was infuriating.

My first thought was that we'd rip these guys to shreds but then had a bit of a longer think (yes it hurts).

The main concern that came to mind is that until Seggy has a few more miles in his legs we have a little bit of a disadvantage at hooker, even though Nu has been doing a pretty good job. The Bunnies by theory have a bit of an advantage over us here with Cook and Farah.

We need to put enormous pressure on Reynolds' kicking game like the Cowboys did yesterday.

Their forwards are pretty one dimensional apart from Sam Burgess, I think we have it easily over them in that department. (Crichton is a star of the future but apparently is carrying a foot injury at the moment).

I think we'll win but am undecided between a close one and 20+.

Not really. Perhaps I got a little carried away after the Easts win. Up until that point I haven't been particularly optimistic with how we've been playing.

Top 4 will do, we don't need to finish top 2.

I reckon we've got it, provided we play all origin players (except maybe bird who im not particularly fussed over). Sharks 24-8

Could be a case of who's less terrible this game but either way we should be good enough to bumble and fumble our way to a win over this mob, they have the sort of one dimensional attacking style that plays into our defense as opposed to Manly/Titans

Just rush up on Farah when he's at dummy half cause he takes an eternity before he even passes and when he does pass it's usually towards his teammates head - we can force alot of errors doing this

We should win this. We should win this. We should win this.

Just have to say it a couple of times to convince myself.

Our squad is only operating around 50% capacity at the moment I'd estimate.

Just seven games to go. Win them all and we are sitting pretty on 40 points. Easily top four. Probably not going to happen though.
That's why we need to win games like this one (and last weekend's!!) to ensure we finish top four.

Need one or two to cement finals spot and need to win another four out of seven to make the top four.

We've got:

Rabbitohs - home
Warriors - away
Raiders - home
Broncos - away
Cowboys - away
Roosters - home
Knights - away

Only one of those is probably in the bag (Knights) although you still can't guarantee it the way we are playing.
The way we are playing we are no guarantee of winning any of these games.

The road to glory starts again on Friday night. For any confidence to return, it has to be a 13+ win against the Bunnies.

I could see us choking in at least some of those games despite being a superior side & broncos/cows game will be very tough - 5 or 6 wins maybe not enough to stay in the top 4 depending on other teams around us results

Our poor form and ****house home record this year points to a Souths ambush. But you'd hope last week was a wake up call, in saying that I've lose count how many times we've said that this year. I'm starting to believe it less and less. Looking at it objectively it's hard to pick a winner. Hopefully Maloney's return along with Souths poor form means we sneak away with a tight win. I think this game will be a low scoring, mistake fest with neither team able to build any momentum, it'll go to golden point with either a Maloney or Reynolds field goal to win it.

Anything less than 13+ is not acceptable ! Teams like Storm, Roosters, Sea Eagles would put the cleaners through them. Record against crap team this year - Newcastle 1 pt win, Tigers 1 pt win, Dog 1pt win and lost twice to Titans.

Remind me to keep out of your way if we only win by 12.

Honestly, with the way we're playing I'd happily take a one point win.

In hindsight, I wish we could have rested all the Origin players for the Titans game now. Even though some of them had limited game time, it would have been good for them to freshen up for the last 7 rounds. SOO 3 was an emotionally draining game for NSW in particular, and we were totall out enthused by the Titans on Saturday, even though conditions there weren't good.
