"Corner of Abuse" is not so much a 'where' but a 'who'

It's a state of mind... a gronk thing.

Non-gronks wouldn't understand.

Sorry to bump this one year later. I'm going to the Sharks vs Knights game in a couple of weeks. In the Peter Burns stand, is it better get a seat in rows A, B and C, or somewhere higher up?

Also, (this is more for next season) if I want to buy a seat in the ET stand , do I pretty much have to buy the ticket in the first few minutes that it's released on Ticketek?

Thanks in advance guys

PB stand, first couple of rows you tend to get people walking in front of you, otherwise closer to the middle (1/2 way line) is good.

ET stand, are you talking season tickets.

Thanks Gil, for ET stand, I meant buying the tickets there for one game. Seems like there's limited supply and it's always sold out very quickly in Ticketek, I guess it's filled up quickly by season ticket holders?

yeah, mostly filled with season ticket holders very hard to get seat up there, PB stand is just as good, just no roof.

As a kid going up, the best place to sit was on the fence level with the corner posts in front of the Peter Burns stand. North end was better because you arent looking into the sun. For some reason ( maybe because we seemed to score more tries) in the 70s and 80s we seemed to get a fair few TV games. After every home game I'd rush home to watch the game because more often than not you'd get your mug on TV. My sister and I, both in our forties, were cracking up just recently as we noticed our young mugs on the TV in the video about ET. We were freeze framing and watching ourselves go nuts.
It was also brilliant to be so close to the action.
