I see a lot of people have given up on Ben Barba already, he's only 3 games into his Sharks career FFS.
I'm not sure you could fill the salary cap with the talent you've bones and versus what's left on the market. Ennis? Really?? We need someone to lead the kids. We also don't have a dominant NYC side to fill holes.
The roster isn't too bad. Needs tweaks, not dynamite.

Yeah it's a harder exercise than it appears. The problem with his list is we'd be paying a fair bit of our cap to players no longer with us. Next year...add a quality half back to our roster, don't re-sign Gal and sign an innovative coach, we're much closer than people realise imo.

I don't see him as a 5/8 under our structure, maybe a different coach and 7 could create more in the middle leaving space on the edges and we play barba one side and holmes the other?
What we need is for the club to say what stage we're at.
We need to know what our long term plan is.
Are we in a transition phase, which I won't cop, we've been there since 2008.
Are we in a rebuilding phase? If we are, I can take the losses.
We sure as **** not in a premiership window.
Until the club or Flanno give us their endgame, we're stuck in limbo and will continue to sign players on the outer from other clubs.
I hope we're in the rebuilding, but wouldn't suprise me if they think we're still in transition.
If we'd signed DCE, we would be in phase 1 of rebuilding.

Most were squad players , chosen for depth yet fully capable of holding their own in first grade and perhaps more .
