If you were in charge of rebuilding the club who would you keep, who woukd you drop, who would you try to recruit?

I think we are done. The current senior players will not see success at the club. Because of this there is no point in persisting. We must rebuild.

KEEP:
Ennis
Graham
A Fifita
D Fifita
Holmes
Bird
Gagan
Feki
Beale
Leutele
Arona
Bukuya
F. Brown
Gardner
Politoni

DROP:
Gallen
Lewis
Heighington
Tupou
Prior
Robson
Gordon
Ayshford
M. Brown
Roqica
Tagataese

RECRUIT:
The best possible youth.
Some honest props inc Douglas
A very few older players with impeccable character. Late 20s max.

I'd drop Leutele, Gardner from your list of players to keep, and I'd keep one of Heino or Toops for experience otherwise I mostly agree, we need to go after the other Jack Bird's out there, offer them overs and a shot of first grade.

As much as I'd like to see such a clean out, it won't be done so quickly, and not with Flanno as coach. Will take a new coach to get a clean out, or a coaching director who has some real power, not fake power to apease fans there's a change coming. I hope Gorman starts pointing his attention to on field performance once he's fixed up the front office.

Also I liked the look of Egley yesterday, pretty decent for his first game. Might be possible prying him away from the Titans.

DROP:
Flanno!
Gal - let him go play in Super League
Gordon
Lewis
Ayshford
Brown
Gardner
Roqic
Robson

RECRUIT:
Dymock - Head Coach (joint role)
Kimmorley - Head Coach (joint role)
A new 6 or 7, maybe we can convince Widdop, Sezer or Maloney
2 or 3 young FRF and Sec Rowers
Jeremy Smith (we need his toughness back)

KEEP:
Ennis
Graham
A Fifita
D Fifita
Holmes
Bird
Gagan
Feki
Beale
Leutele
Arona
Bukuya
F. Brown
Politoni
Heighington (need a few old heads to help nurture the young blokes)
Tupou (Same as above)
Prior (If we don't pick up a young FRF)
Tagataese (could be a big asset under the right coach)
Murphy
Barba (at least for now)
Houma (needs to be given a chance to show what he can do at NRL levels)

SHAME WE LOST:
Peachey - Not likely to ever come back
Townsend - Maybe a chance but would have to offer overs now
Douglas - not likely to ever come back

I honestly would only drop Gordon and flanno.

Get a coach who will make gal play 60 and tell every player that if they don't show the passion that Holmes and bird showed on the field their spot is up for grabs.

Murphy needs to be given a crack this week so we know where he stands before barba comes back.

I wonder what would happen if Robbo and Barba get injurred.

We'd probably go

7. Wade
6. Lewis

or something like that.

Gal can stay but mist play prop
Prior can stay. He's done well in the middle . Few good offloads
Lewis I'm undecided. I'm positive he can be a strong contributor
The young backs need to stay. Bird,Holmes, Gagan, Feki, Ricky, Beale
I've loved Gordon but geez his mistake rate is high and they all seem to be particularly costly mistakes as well. He can go
Wade Ennis both Fifitas stay
Taga, goes
Would be easy to say let Toops Heino etc go but they need to be replaced with better or similar types. Who's going to come to us with our style of play???
Dare say Robbo will finish this year anyway. God I hope so
Barba to stay.
For what it's worth

In terms of a strong/youthful/future side
1. Holmes
2. Feki
3. Beale
4. Leutele
5. Gagan
6. Barba
7. SIGNING
8. Fifita (stuck with him now, needs to cut the **** out of his game though)
9. Ennis
10. Prior (relatively happy with him this year for his limited gameplay)
11. Bird
12. Graham
13. Gallen

14. Lewis (unless he keeps getting injured, then i think its best he retires/moves on)
15. Toupo
16. Fifita
17. Houma

We also have a lot of promise in the lower grades, plus guys like Nu Brown, Siluma, Wells, Addo-Carr etc for a bit of depth.

Its almost a case of this year, anyone off contract, we could cut them. I'd keep gal but we need some firm coaching. Someone to tell him not to get the touches in attacking moves unless its one designed for him. He can run as many hit ups as he wants. Just say out of back line movements

Cut:
Lewis, Toops, Heighington - all good players, but we need an injection of youth
Robbo - Solid, sound defensively, but we need someone with a much larger skill set to be a chance at the top 8, particularly kicking.
Flash - He's keeping our young blokes out of the side, he should finish in the UK. Holmes, Gagan and Feki should be our outside backs next year.
Ayshford - He had a good 9's tourny, but he's simply not required.
Gards - Has to move on if he wants an opportunity to resurrect his career, cause it won't happen here.
Stanley - it's a shame, but he needs to retire for his own benefit.

Sign:
A halfback of course: Hodgo is my number 1 target but he ain't getting him. Cornish and Sezer would be brilliant, but again, it's unlikely cause no one wants to come here. Hell, I'll settle for Chad Townsend, if he wants to come back, I wouldn't if I was him.
A cheap up and coming prop - give us a bit more depth
A cheap second rower - depends on how many of the old brigade we lose.

Wont win us the comp, but it's a step in the right direction.

I dont see Bukuya on many peoples lists, do we need him or should we keep him? I say keep him, he can be a great asset for us if he is played in the right way. He was outstanding for us in his first stint with us, if he can get his best form back he can be one of our most consistent 2nd rowers!
