Sorry Lads , really thought we could have pulled that one out of the fire .
On a brighter note , went to meet and greet on Sunday morning .
Everyone has put that game behind them and regrouping for the charge to the semis .
Lyle said don't believe the press , he is going nowhere and has heaps of stuff to tick off his Sharks list .
Beale said the team honestly believes they can beat ANY time on their day .
Lewy played the game a bit flat after severe food poisoning / vomiting 2 days before the game .Felta bit taxed out there .
Someone asked Flanno when will his son make first grade and he believes he could see some game time as early as next year .
And the Best for last. My mate went to every forward and asked if they could belt Josh Mcquire when they play Broncs .
They were ALL keen for that , especially Wade . Taga said if his last game is ever against Broncos " he will take him out ' in a joking comment.

This. Taylor is an ok first grader but Bird made him look like a 22 yo Lockyer. This was a close game without Bird's disgusting defensive work. He should have been hooked for Nu after the second one, but Seggy must have needed to come off. Swapping Chad to that side was a pretty obvious sign that Flano was fed up with Bird's ineptitude.

Agreed. He was probably the worst, but he's an easy target now we know he's leaving.
I rewatched the Grand Final after SOO last Wednesday. It was like watching another team. Prior was a brick wall. Feki going past three defenders to get out of the in-goal. Every player seemed to be at their best. Hopefully Flanno can get them back into that headspace.

Easy target or not, he was dreadful. Watching live (at the game) and without seeing any stats I would have said the Sharks were the better team in terms of building attacking pressure etc. The Titans just seemed to score every time they got in our 20. They got a couple of lucky bounces for tries and one for a dropout, but the other tries they didn't even have to work for - they just ran at Bird and scored. No sustained pressure. No dominating possession and field position ... just get inside the 20 and run a simple play at one guy.
