Mate, not with the way our centres defend. Unfortunately the risks far out weigh the rewards right now. Maybe by mid-season if (when) we are still struggling I'd be all for it.

yeah he is fast but needs a bit of work. I wish we had a coach , he would make a place for peachey , good coaches make room for good players.

I was just gonna post the same, why isn't he paying first again? :gal:

I'm going to sound like a broken record, but it's on the coaching staff. A guy with that much natural talent is worth the risk. Give him 5 consecutive games coming off the bench, put him on at the last 15 of each half as a 'second 5/8' (lock) and just see if he can work his magic in the big league. Well, that's what I would do.

We've got the big minute forwards to do it too.

I agree, it would be maybe an unwarranted dropping for one of the bench players to make room for him. I still think it's worth the risk. Also, I feel that known of our big minute forwards offer what peaches does.

i know there's talk of his defensive shortcomings, however, a bit later in the season I'd really like to see him get a run. And when that happens, I'd like to see an explicit game plan for Carney to be firing rockets to him all day, giving him some space, and just see how his attack stands up against the NRL standards.

When Boggie was out playing in the Centres against the Warriors he was getting a lot of early ball. He used his foot work and was causing trouble.

Sounds like Peachy could do the same, if not more.

Pomeroy coulda done the same. Key word there was early ball. Its amazing what happens when a strong ball runner gets early ball. When the Sharks throw only hospital passes we get nowhere. Give our guys some room to work up a head of steam and we can do damage. Not just Pomeroy. But most of these blokes could do it.

Luke Lewis needs to pull his finger out a bit as well

True mate. We don't see to be able to give our centres much early ball.

Alipate is as good as gone. Injured his ankleroughly a month ago. Went off the radar for a couple of days. Club finally caught up with him on the phone, his reply was im going to fiji for a week, my granma is going to fix my ankle. Club hasn't heard from him since, would be very surprised if he came back.

That's a shame, he was a project player but the reward could have been huge.

Knowing what fijians are like that story sounds pretty accurate haha.
