Used to listen in on radio or await the Sunday paper to get results. Even used to access some crappy Optus service on my mobile phone to get results when I was out and about. The only good thing about was I didn't have to go through the stress of watching the game. Used to get so cut when we lost back in the day.

Before online streaming of replays was available I recall taping a game on the VCR (lol) then doing my best to avoid the media for a few days until had time to watch the tape.

Thankgod I have either been able to go to the game or watch on TV my whole life.

When Cronulla played Brisbane in Brisbane this year on Friday night and it was the 2nd game on TV, I listened to it live on the internet on ABC radio.

It was a real throw back to the old days.
