questions for the pod this week, with answer and discussions
1) what is your solution to sifa not playing in the centres?
2) how long does moylan have left in the team?
3) is nich hynes the best player in the competition?
also, please hit us with your questions or topics for discussion
1) Leave him at centre, the defence was good last year and 1 mistake this week isn't the end of the world. They'll keep working on it and it'll be fine, got another 23 rounds to go. In attack the get out of trouble runs he takes no other centre we have can do what he does consistently then back it up with the ball skills he has at the other end. Him and Ramien were starved of early ball in the attacking end when Hynes was out and 1 game back and they've touched the ball more than the 3 games before combined.
2) As long as his body holds up, we all know what were gonna get with him, he compliments Hynes and lets him be who he is. I don't think its worth risking Hynes not playing to his full potential in a comp game just to see how someone else goes. Also Trindall and Hynes both play right side so moving one to the left will just increase the defensive issues on that side, I'm sure Trindall has trained there but games are very different.
3) If he's not he's in the top 3 at the minute easily. Poor attempt on Hunt but besides that his game was hard to fault.
My question for you.
I know the Jets play at Henson and I don't want them moving from there, but do you think when both them and Sharks have home games, the game times should accomodate each other to have the best chance of watching the 3 grades or just tough luck pick one or the other? for example Newtown at 12. 21s at 3 then 1st grade at 5:30. Gives fans time to get from Henson to Shark Park if they want to watch all grades
