Gallen has been a great club man of the years but while he is here we will not be able to go forward as a team.

The side showed that without him last week they all lifted - the minute he is in the side being so dominate no one wants to over call him.

Really dominate playerswho are not coached properly will stifle the team - we are stifled.

It's time for him to move to prop and play prop minutes. Oh wait, it's actually time for him to have a holiday, seeing as though Origin 2015 is just around the corner.

It's an old fashioned stifling all right. And Gall is a world class stifler, no doubt.

Just checked and Gagan, leutele and Wright had 9 combined offloads from rounds 16 and 17. Round 18... One. total.

Says to me they didn't get the ball early enough. And that as good as wade looked, it shouldn't be his job to offload, just as it isn't Gallens job. Leave it to the guys who can do it and do it well.

Gallen is good at getting an arm free and offloading.

Spot on Sparkles

In the two games we won the ball was spread wide and often so our backs had some chance to do something with it instead of getting it on the 4th or 5th tackle with some one right up in your face

We also allowed Nu Brown to do some kicks that helped break up the oppos defenceand for a change put them in two minds, and I think we had more repeat sets

On the weekend we had Gal and Lewis carting it up most of the time either side of the ruck , and back to what we mostly do and lose,, this constant set play and kick on the last tackle is sooooo so easy to defend as the this years results have shown.

The two games we won with the young guys allowed them to accept some responsability and ..... they all lifted we looked good to look at and won.

It really does not take a lot of Coaching talent to do what we do over and over with the same outcomes.

We now know we have some talent and we should allow them to use it and also allow players like Toops to do what he does best Stand and deliver

Anyone ever asked Gal why he taps his forehead, cheeks and jaw twice when he runs out on to the field?

It's probably just his physical cue that he uses to get into his Gal-zone. Or perhaps he likes affection, and gets it any way he can. Perhaps aliens?

I posted ages ago, gallen was a stats man and cruelled our attack, also mark my words, we should look to move him on quicker rather than later, we need to be ruthless, its not hard to find someone to do the job he does at a third of the price, its time for the board to become ruthless, and gallen is the first that should be moved on. Find a kid with a bit of size and a big motor and move him on. Plenty of blokes in the top grade would be quite happy to see him go. A big mouth with an even bigger ego.
