Look at the teams that were bottom of the table last year, they too had bad injuries. Eels and tigers.

We have had it shocking, not just injury numbers, but who has been injured.

A different coach we mighta scored some tries but i still think we'd have only 2 wins.
It's more the way we're playing than the losses, the little basic things we're not doing right. Not moving up in defence, sloppy execution, not chasing kicks, never pressuring kickers, certain players just not having a go at all, barely going through the motions. It just reeks of not giving a ****.

There's only 4 players that turn up every time they play. Gal, feki, hino and arona.

Granted he might be 100% right, but our captain shouldn't be airing it in public.
Should be said behind closed doors directly to sharpie, noyce and damo.
Sharpies presser was also interesting where he mentioned that not all the players are training as a unit and are missing all the time. Me thinks this is directed at gal and Lewis (derrrrr).
Watch this space!!!!!!!

Ok , I'll throw something into the mix and it's not a troll I'm more than happy to be corrected .

it was more than apparent last night that after Manly scored and the players were gathered behind the line , Gal did not address them at all , at times they split into little groups and spoke amongst themselves whilst Gal stood there and towelled off , I noticed Wade talking quite a bit but not Gal , I go back to the Greg pierce , rogers even ET days when they would rip into the players after the opposition scored , but last night and at other times this season nothing from Gal.

also Weds night very little talk from the captain , even at the end during celebrations I only saw Lewie and Farrah of the players come up to Gal and celebrate , admittedly while the celebrations were occurring immediately after the siren Gal was up congratulating , by himself , the Queenslanders , but thought it odd that no one else sought him out , I see Merrin has said some nice things but not much else

Pretty much my observations of the game mate. It's embarrassing to watch when we actually throw it to the backline. You will have one, maybe two forwards fun slow motion sloppy decoys that fool no-one before the sweeper gets absolutely jammed by the defence who know exactly where the ball is going. Compare it to Manly and you can see why we can't score points.

I can remember a game in 99 we were up like 20 nil and the opposition scored next thing you see is et absolutely going off his head and every single player stood there looking at him

Gal admits he isn't a big talker, graham is a big talker, don't know if anyone can understand him though lol

Yep, it's all in slow motion. We'd struggle with a 5 on 2 overlap to score a try.

I remember melbourne putting 50 on a team and that team got a try on full time, their only try (i wish it was us), and cam smith was gettin so stuck into the players for lettin their guard down.

I dont give a **** how much people wanna have gallens babies. He isnt a good captain. He is a hard worker. Id rather ennis as captain.

I'd suggest this is a fair call. Maybe co-captains to keep the peace but something has to change.

Interesting read. Could be the start of some changes?

Cronulla captain Paul Gallen says it is not too late to replace interim head coach Peter Sharp with an up-and-comer for the rest of the season, arguing that players were not giving their all "because they're under the impression that Sharpie isn't putting 100 per cent in".

The headline that's been given to the story is very misleading. I listened to Gal say all that today on Matty John's show and I just heard him clarify and explain himself just then on the verdict. Gal has been taken out of context. He never said Sharp needed to be replaced.

It sounds pretty clear he wants someone else.

Just seeing part of the press conference on the news.

Feel sorry for Gal after all he puts in each week.

He looks and sounds just as lost as the fans.

Nothing misleading in that at all

It sounds pretty clear he wants someone else.

So do we all.

What pisses me off is our "Captain" saying the players aren't taking Sharp seriously, mucking up like schoolkids etc...

WTF HAS HE, OUR CAPTAIN, BEEN DOING ABOUT IT?

Yup was thinking the same B&B

If Gal has as much sway with players and the club as it seems then do something about it
He is the captain, he needs to lead off the field and at training as well

Been too busy with Origin I spose...
