Filiga isn't really a bad purchase, He was a nobody when bought, So was only media hype regarding him as the next "sonny".

For mine, recent memory of Nigel Vagana, When we got him, he was regarded as one of the best centres in the game. But didn't really fullfill his game. Pretty sure he was on decent money as well.

Nah dont agree with the Vagana thing.... When u look at the amount of ball he got when he was at the Dogs compared to the anmount of ball the sharks gave him theres a massive difference.... He was decent with the amount of ball he was given.. its hard to be special with no touches...

from mind worst signing is Filiga. If he actually was on 200k a year... I know everyone says it was incentives based. Besides him I GOTTA SAY JOSH HANNAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Vagana, he never made anything of his opportunities. Followed closely by Darren Albert the real reason we got rid of peachey.

The whole Christchurch thing aside, he only came back to Australia for a lasting playing hurrah so that he could relaunch his media career. He wasn't at Cronulla to play footy; he came back to start his telly career.
