Needs so.e Face Slapping before he runs out ..Release the MONGREL.
One of his better games early on (Dragons Rd4) you can see Brailey grab him and give him a rev up when he comes on.

I think it is very telling that all of his best games came with a healthy Rudolf and BHU in the team. He's a quality 3rd or 4th prop but struggled as #1 or #2.

Will a change of hair style finally get this guy firing for us?
What is the success criteria?

Can he be a reliable 30 minute benchie and provide a good mix of work rate and quick ptb’s? Definitely.

Can he play as well as a 35-40 minute starter as when he is a 30 minute benchie? Possibly.

Can he have a similar impact to Hazelton or Hunt if he plays just 20? Unlikely.

Break / bend the line, drag in defenders, good leg drive, possible offload...

Add the above to a quick ptb and work rate and I'd be happier.

Most teams who lose their main guy would struggle, but some cover the other guy better than others.

Sharks fans have been spoilt for a few years because Tricky was close to the top of the list for non-starting NRL halves.
Hopefully Dykes can grow into that best of the next role to bring back that coverage.

Looks to be starting to really settle into the NRL
Good signs given he’s barely older than last year when we had to keep saying ‘don’t forget he’s still extremely young for a prop’
