Yeah don’t get Manu if named centre.

You could almost get Garrick now tbh
Play titans this week, could go 100+ and barely drop in price. His games after that are okay but not fantastic, you could miss his best score of next 8 weeks by not having him this game
Yeah I've been looking at both. Garrick could come down in price still with a 130 BE, but he could also get that this week. Hard to know. I think both are good options this week.

Think I'm pulling the pin on Savage this week.

Broncs next has me thinking his price rises might be stifled

Yeah, he's on my list of options to move (him, Lane or hold).
He did have a good work rate vs Titans, really good, don't know how he didn't have a bit more luck with some attack/evasive stats.

I could see him scoring okay although like you, suspect he doesn't.

Just quietly if Hopoate does come back (and doesn't move himself or Kris to FB) I hope Schiller bumps Savage.
Then doesn't really matter if you hold or move Savage and Schiller can keep cashing up

I think I have to do it this week just to bring in some cash for moves, bringing Val and Dom young in early kind of backfired when Dom murdered Taafe.

I'm looking at moving RTS as well but with Drags then Tits next I'll be waiting a few more weeks

It's s pretty tough choice. Lane and Savage have good ceilings and there's no real reason why they won't keep scoring well through the season.
It could almost be a season to have a team carrying a good number of cheapies/mids who you don't need to sell but just play at the right time

Yeah not awful to keep either (hence hold is an option)
But Iro for another cheapie who could easily challenge Savage for average once he settles in, or upgrading to a premier scorer are both also attractive haha

So I'm pretty set on trading out Hutchinson for a better half this week, still considering a cheap cash play or a SJ/burton and am looking at Savage to Iro which will bank me a decent chunk of cash.

Do we think using a third boost to swap burbo for Chricton or Blore is worth it or just hold a week and save trades?

Just trying to gage how important boosts are going to be later, have probably already asked but forgotten answer haha

Volume of trades more important. What would you have left if you boosted?

I finished last season with no trades left but a boost in hand (you can only use it if you have trades left)

Depending how many trades you’ve made already I don’t mind it. Otherwise I think you can hold Burbo - he’s a dual with a low BE

Burbo and soft tissue injuries... guy can't catch a break. Can't imagine they rush him back.

Waddell might also be an option and a bit of a POD to the other two, depending on how long Burbo is out for.

What do we consider a good average score for someone? Or does it depend on what you paid for the player or how good they are supposed to be?

Kind of frustrating the rabbits have a bye this week with Levi looking like he's reached his limit.

Would have considered going early on mamouzelos if he held his spot. Jbrailz not a bad option either.

Personally, I'd say averaging over 70 for a season puts you in the top tier.

Value just as important early in the year though. If you can get a cheaper guy who averages 60, he's playable and makes money for you.

I can't see Mamouzelos keeping Cook out long term... Brailey however, is one I'm considering.

Depends on what position and what you paid.

If you got them cheap, and they are making money. That's good.
If you paid a bit, and they are maintaining their price, they are probably doing okay.
If they are bleeding cash, they are probably doing poorly.

A position like halves/CTW you're likely to look for more upside and risk more low scores. Somewhere between the 30-130 range. Forwards and hooker you're probably looking for more consistency, not scoring below 50.

There's a metric used for consistently good players that is 60/60. Scoring over 60 in 60% of their games. If they are doing that, you're happy no matter the position. Would be easier to chat through examples if you have specific questions.

I'm Lucky Lussick had a good game. Another week or so to work it out. I feel like it's a bit of a luxury trade either way at the moment. Other problems to fix.
