I got Manu two weeks ago, been scoring very nicely for me

Ahh okay, I didn't realise the + let me look at other teams until this week thought it was adding rivals so thought I'd check haha.

I was a bit disappointed with Savage’s and Schiller’s points, thought they both had top games yet only 40 for Savage and 65 for Schiller.

Yeah they didn’t have much luck with most of their runs. They did hard work but low scoring work.

I do think they’ll find a couple more points on updates as usually when you’re busy some get missed - Savage had 21 runs, surely broke a third tackle in their somewhere.

Tries off kicks don’t get line break points so that hurts Schiller (and why Muli didn’t go bigger)

Nice bit of overall rank movement for me, up to 3851 overall (moved 3571 places).
Trick is grinding forward not sliding haha

Hearing Cleary might be round 11...
If that's the case I'll be very glad I eventually gave up and went to SJ. Not that I've looked extensively but I haven't seen that anywhere - anything even semi reliable?

Well done mate. I thought I was doing OK after Round 5 where I was ranked 16,745 out of 150,000. Now after Round 6 I've dropped almost 30,000 places to 44,518. It's a hard comp isn't it?

I also lost my H2H game in the Sharks Forever Classic game - first loss in three games and I've slid 3 spots down the ladder to 10th!

Not a great Supercoach week for me.

That movement backwards can feel big, but you'll find you don't actually have that many points between you and thousands of those ahead. One good round and you jump back up 10k spots!

Yeah it’s tough for sure haha
In a sense shows how easy making that 30k back up can be too, with a good move or two.

Still see a lot of teams put up good scores and rank well that are objectively (imo) poor teams. Like already carrying 3 or 4 guys who won’t play - fine perhaps if they are saving trades also, but spending all your money on 17-20 players and ignoring the rest doesn’t really seem viable post 17th team joining

Hammer OUT likely to Angus

Second trade I can
- hold
- Savage or Lane to Iro
- Savage or Lane to stronger CTW (Ronnie, Lomax, DWZ etc)

Not sure what direction to go yet. Iro if names wing I think I might avoid just because it increases chances Talakai stays at centre

I stupidly convinced myself to get Hammer over Manu a few weeks ago, so I think I've missed that boat. I'm bringing in DWZ with their great run coming up.

A lot of the good scoring teams seem to have 3 premier CTWs (although most have lower team value than me)

Val I think too late for me, hope for a cheap chance during/post origin with some affected minutes or something.

Fortunately have Manu - bonus if he manages to get another FB run in this week but I’m expecting Teddy back

Yep, gotta get the good ones in. I like Val and Lomax, but we are now nearing origin so I think they are too expensive to shell out for missing those games (if picked). Dwz, Ronnie, Manu, Kiraz, and Garrick will be my targets over the next few.

I was going to go Manu, but I think I'm chasing points. He's 50k more and they play the storm this week. If he was named at fullback that would change my mind though.

Feel like the draw will have some sway in that choice between Lomax and Ronnie. I was leaning Lomax's way until I saw they're up against NZ next!
I almost traded in Angus last week but I'm still a little wary of how many forwards the Roosters have that could play

Yeah don’t get Manu if named centre.

You could almost get Garrick now tbh
Play titans this week, could go 100+ and barely drop in price. His games after that are okay but not fantastic, you could miss his best score of next 8 weeks by not having him this game
