Watching the replay got to be the best first half we have played in years a few mistakes and it was only the kick off drop from Townsend that stopped it being all us :drunk We really do need to fix the dropping off in the 2nd half though, i don't think you can fault us to much with the penalties going against there was def a hint of keeping the game close but in the end it's down to us, we lifted in defence for the last 10 which was good just need it over the whole 80.

Strange feeling leaving the ground today. Despite the win I felt really flat, obviously due to our second half effort. Didn't feel like singing the song either which is not bloody right at all.

As has been said on here first half was awesome. As good as the 26-0 scoreline against the Roosters a few years ago. Our passing was crisp, our defence sound, second phase play from offloads just out of this world. Our intensity was very high, we had the Broncs back pedalling and they were shell shocked.

And then we had half time.

Now I bet every Sharks fan in that ground had the thoughts of coming out in the second half and keep our feet on their throats. The only guys in Black, White and Blue that didn't were the 17 players on the field. I don't know what they were thinking but the intensity dropped so much you'd be forgiven for thinking the Broncos upped the ante. But I don't think they played amazingly better in the second half, we just dropped off and allowed them back into the game.

It was a relief that we won rather than the pure joy we should have felt. Ennis was just brilliant today. God knows what we'll do if he doesn't play. I thought Chad and Maloney are looking better each week as well. Even though he was gassed in the second half, Gal was strong. I hope he keeps playing like that all year.

6 wins in a row is a great result and in two weeks against the Knights we should get our 7th. But anyone thinking we should towel them up needs to look at our second half today again to realise there is every possibility of them making things very tough for us.

To be fair to Feki, he didn't play in the second half, so only 16.

I'm still mad they called up that "shoulder charge" such a good defensive set they barely got 15m then the hit and we are all expecting another try after that and they pull it up as he's going to play the ball ruined the ending.

yeah its a shame it was called. But i thought about it last night, and if the situations were reversed and we needed a try to win it, and that happened to us, we'd all be blowing up for the shoulder charge trying to nit pick the tackle.

By the rules it was a shoulder charge. I doubt he will be suspended or even cop a charge

That's the thing though he won't get charged so it never deserved to go on report but the bunker is only allowed to look at something that would go on report apparently, shoulder charge = on report i guess but it shows the black and white rule has problems when that type of hit is supposedly bad the main point that annoyed me was the ref was fine to play on until Bunker gets involved and then Barba gets hit high our next set and the refs just let it play on? What if we lost the game from that though we know how often they miss ****even with the bunker it becomes unfair when they only call up 1 every few games or something it's a matter of time before it ruins a result,

I would of been fine if the onfield ref said have a look or something but stay out off it with the bunker otherwise imo.

If you're a little bored I strongly recommend going to page 16 of this thread and reading through to about page 25. Most hilarious meltdown from grown adults I've seen in a long time.

Hahaha we all aged a bit during that 40. Up up

I called BS on that "shoulder charge" too. It is something I normally expect to happen these days. When a team has a strong defensive set and pins the opposition down in their own end, there is always that inkling feeling that they will give a cheap penalty. Almost feels like a little helping out everytime. "Okay, we can see you're struggling. Let me help yas out here"

Is how I view it anyway.
