Gal was immense. There was one run in yhe second half where he cut behind the markers and made 20 odd meters dragging players that really lifted the team.

Also thought all the video ref decisions were spot on, surely now with the win the shark goggles can come off. If any of those calls had gone the other way there would be massive uproar. Glad they didnt and we nabbed the 2 points anyway. With the stats stacked against us it was a real hard fought one and sets us up for a cracker next week.

A very tight game last night, happy to walk away with the two.
I just love how the guy's are backing each other up.
They are believing in themselves.

Were on a roll, the fans are fired up, team is fired up, so far so good.

Was happy with the win in that fashion. I expected a close match. The try at the end was weak as well as moylans terrible.

But we never panicked and came back to win it. Penrith are a much better opponent that tigers or titans who we also gave up leads or let back in to.

Lewis' shot was epic. Vals try was amazing and i loved that he had 2 guys in support all the way.

We are playing as a team finally

How calm was barba when bryce cartwright made that break just before halftime, pointing to players where to go.

Ricky being blamed for that left side defence is ridiculous. Watched the replay wade was left clutching at thin air on occasion as well. That side missed 7 tackles according to nrl stats. Wade 4 ricky 3. Wades excuse may be his broken rib or whatever then mYbe he shouldnt of played. But I thought feki ricky and wade all got schooled down that side not just ricky.
the yeo try was all on ricky. He missed a one on one tackle and he scored. Should have made the tackle and it's not the first time this year ricky has done something like that

Wonder if a bellemy or Bennett would persist with ricky in this situation when we have someone like beale sitting on the bench. Just because we are winning doesn't mean players shouldn't be dropped

What's flanno going to do. Wait till it really costs us before he makes the change. Make the change now before it does

spot on. he is great at organising the line too.
he had a pretty quiet game by his standards but still looks threatening when he is hanging out the back.

it was great to see only sharks players up that end of the field, good on lewy for supporting.
then as soon as he put the ball down everyone raced up to him and all the boys looked ecstatic. not a panther to be seen!

Nice rivalry forming with the Panthers. Always close games.
Leutele had a night to forget, but I'm loving the contributions from 1-17 this year. Prior & Bukuya have improved massively.

we seem so well-rounded this year. even with loots and feki having off nights there is so many players who can step up.
our errors were down compared to recent games and i think it was one of our teams best performances against an opposition who threw everything at us.
our goal line defence in the first half was fantastic, and one of their tries was pretty lucky with the bounce and all.

one of the best games so far this season.

Yeah that was Peachey-esque I thought.

I also liked how Lewis had the presence of mind to be directing Val to score closer to the posts.

Leutele was absolute garbage yesterday. Penrith targeted him and Maloney all game. Beale should have come on to sure that side up.
Flanno almost bottled it

Okay can we talk about these bunker calls?

Townsend offside was marginal, it was given a try on field, the touchy didn't call offside, how can the bunker conclusively say he was offside. Very tough call. If it was given a no try on field then sure, also one look? How about they actually have a detailed look. In the end I'm OK with this call if the below two were also disallowed.

The try where they knocked on was insane, that's a knock on every day of the week, he was moving forward as he dropped it and it still looked like it fell in front of him. If they could overturn our offside try then there was probably enough evidence to overturn this one

Lastly when man'sour' held back fifita... How inconsistent has this been this year?? Every other game if you hold a defender back in any stage of an attacking play it's an instant penalty. Blatant grubbery

50/50 calls all went their way tonight. Bunker is rubbish. End rant
They got all of those calls correct imo.

Townsend was definitely off side.

I think the knock on could have gone either way, they've ruled those knock on's before but was OK with the decision.

Can't remember the Mansour play.

I'm assuming he's talking about when they scored. If so Fifita made the first contact, absolutely nothing in it. Maybe he's talking about another incident though.

Having watched the game again today I agree that the Bunker got everything right yesterday. Chad def offside, no knock on from Fisher-Harris and definitely no obstruction on Fifita. Just irks me they have to go there every time. Surely some of those decisions could have been made on the field.

I loved the game yesterday. It had some great attack and defence and two teams who weren't about to lie down.
It will be a great game next week's against the Broncos. We need to be 100% on our game to win.

I thought Fifita, Gal and Prior were brilliant yesterday. While he didn't have a brilliant game I loved how Barba involved himself looking for the ball from broken play and his defence work is just terrific.

We finally have a team capable of going deep into the finals.
