Can anyone explain why Capewell was ruled to have knocked on when Peachey hit him early on.
All I could see was Kurt fumble and regathering without it touching anyone else.

What a great performance against I think a strong attacking team in Penrith. Keeping 2 solid teams tryless now shows how confident we are in defence now. Had good scrambling & cover defence, covered each other well I thought when there was a slight gap showing. Our attack just seemed to click aswell, this may have been the same time last year or thereabouts where we started to click into gear. Next week against the Titans I feel will show if we are really there or not. Watching the game with Penrith supporter mates was good. They had so much confidence coming into the game but just looked shellshocked during the game hahaha.

Capewell had a solid showing for a replacement winger I thought, bust a few tackles. Graham, what can I say, he is all class in defence. If he does not get picked for NSW this year I'd be amazed. Stupid decision early on to give that penalty away though. Brailey, he is a must to keep in the long term. Only 21 & has a showing like he is already very experienced, shows good support in attack aswell. Townsend was superb in kicking today. I could rabble on with the players today though but I wont.

I had a family do on today but I maintain that there is no better BOD than a Panfa's trip. it's the way Sharks footy was meant to be Up Up!

Everything's been said, so I'll just add, is there a way we can buy Blake? I want him in our backline next year. We have an opening.

Scary thing is i don't believe we're playing anywhere near our best. Good times ahead I think.

No where near our best offensively but I think last 2 weeks we have been close to it defensively. It takes good efforts to keep those 2 teams tryless I think. Take out so many penalties & errors away aswell & it will be even better. Maloney & Val can still get much better though so that will bring some more points in.

Agree totally mate, very poor decision. But then again it was Sutton.

It was the correct decision. Capewell juggled the ball and it hit Peachy which is a knock on. So sutton got it right.

in attack yes. Our completions are way way down, and we have been heavily penalised also for silly ****. Our defense is holding up to the task. Even yesterday we didnt have the lions share of the ball in our attacking half. Start controlling the ball, and keep that defensive intensity and structure and we will be really hard to beat.

Ive been loving the way we defend our edges, we seem like we cant be run around, or through. Lewis is doing a real good job on that edge keeping everyone in position IMO

Fair enough. If that's what happened then that's the correct decision. I just didn't see it hit Peachey at all from the replays.

Agree 100% HB.

We're only around 60% overall. The game against the Gold Coast worries me though. We've been up for two big tough games and the natural subconscious reaction to then play a team that is not going so well is to think it's in the bag. All the talk during the week will be not taking it easy but your subconscious does weird things. You only need to look at the Newcastle game to see that.

Does anyone know if Hayne is playing or due back? That prick always tears up when he plays us.

Not sure if Hayne would be back but I read somewhere that they have a long injury list. James was apparently in a moon boot after their last game as well. At home we should win comfortably.

Comments from James suggesting he'll be OK but they always say that. Not a good sign being in a moon boot.
