Ok.

First try, Ramien’s fault, followed Best when he should have stayed on Ponga
Second try Nikora misses the tackle on Ponga. He makes that tackle they stop him.
Third try there are several players to blame here but Chad is not one of them. He actually tracks back to our in goal after being on halfway when the move started. Yes he couldn’t get the ball before Mann but at least he was there.
Fourth try Chad was nowhere near the play, Moylan missed the tackle.
Fifth try, should have been shut down by Moylan and Wilton, also Toby rushed up on Green at the play the ball and missed him terribly.

You’re clutching at straws saying any of this tries were Chad’s fault.

Now please remember that I’m no fan of Chad’s but you’re bagging him incorrectly here.

2nd pitiful and 3rd try ( should of battered over in goal ) efforts to defuse POOR

The fact that you are bashing Chad for the second, but haven't touched on Nikora's miss for creating the try demonstrates your complete inability to be objective.

Chad doesn't have to touch ponga if his inside man could ****ing tackle!

Ahhh... remember the good old days when it was just me picking on Nikora’s defence.

I only just finished watching the game on replay. A bit puzzled over what we were penalised for in the lead up to the last Newcastle try. I thought the penalty was going to go our way for obstruction.

Someone (apparently Ramien) was offside

But have you considered Nikora wouldn’t miss so many if Chad had already made them?

Looked like a few of them were in front

fair enough

I thought we did pretty well considering the cattle we had missing.

Looked pretty flat energy-wise.

Made up for the lack of energy with occasional flair.

Kennedy is a smart footy player. Every time something doesn't work you can tell his brain is clicking over.

Give him a bit more time and he'll be making the right decision in attack almost all of the time.

One question.

Should KP have been allowed to play given his illness/condition?
What’s the protocol for someone taking the field who is obviously infected with some sort of illness?

I’ll tell you what! I’m gunna be pissed if we end up with 3-4 players off with upset stomachs over the next week!

Was thinking the same thing as I watched him puke in the middle of the field numerous times... Gross and not that covid friendly, surely

I wasn't able to watch the game tonight but I saw the score when I was able to, geez we've got to learn how to retain a lead rather then just let the other team get over us within the last 10 minutes. The matches go for 80 minutes, not 70 minutes.

Both are pretty crook, couldn’t eat and spent most of the time on the toilet in the past 24 hours.

A direct quote from their coach!
So they clearly knew the extend of their illnesses.

It is one thing looking after players health with concussions etc but bacterial and virus illness/infections should rule players out until they have recovered.

I would have puked up myself if I was a player and landed in KP’s puke on the field!
Where is the players welfare/ health interests there???

Poor form firstly from the Knights to allow them to play and it would be poor form from the NRL if they don’t raise this.
Player welfare for both the sick player and the rest of the players playing in that match!

It's Newcastle & Ponga, what do you expect mate? If he was sick but he played tonight I wouldn't be surprised if he passes the illness onto one of us & he's bad for the rest of the week.
