In your head, rent free
have watched this game a number of times now and i still dont know how we won

on the flip side, i dont know how we fell so far behind, we were all over them in every stat line

but literally, all their points came off our errors or ill discipline

its becoming frustrating, but we showed huge heart to win that

shout out to chad as well, whilst he wasnt one of our best, he held the team together until SJ took over

blayke also had an immediate impact on the game, the tandem of the two brothers is developing nicely

This where I keep struggling with our 3-2-1
Do I vote for who was BEST or who was MOST VALUABLE.

Chads not one of our ‘best’ players but he’s been contributing a lot to keeping us in games until things start clicking and continuing to do a good job moving us around once they do.

Chad was there when SJ wasn't, and held it together enough to allow SJ to shine in the second half.

If SJ had a second half like that but we still lost by 10 points I think the second half would lose a lot of its gloss.

That's why I chose Chad over SJ. They were probably equally as good averaged over 80 minutes, with SJ having higher peaks but way lower points than Chad. SJ's first half was as bad as his second half was good.

Giving the points of tough... You see it with the 'professionals', who often recognise the players on 'vanity,' metrics. Flashy stuff or the one big play (especially from the big player).

I prefer to reward the guys who did the best job for the team. You don't always see their work on the highlight reels, and they might be a bit ordinary in some areas, but when their influence, effort and guspha helps get the team over the line, they're my guys. That's a Chad this year.

Is that a new metric mate?
