The point I was making is that creating chances against Melbourne is not something we have a problem with, panicking and having brain farts is

We need to convert the chances we create as there will only be so many but we also have to defend as good as ever, we can beat them but we gotta be near perfect in everything

Sharks by 50.

Nah, by 51. We'll kick a field goal just before half time to lead 7-0 and score another 44 points in the second half.

Seriously, I'm not overly fussed if we lose. But I at least want to see:

* Us putting in some effort
* Defending our line to the hilt
* Holding the ball and not pushing passes
* Seeing Slater get smashed

It is fantastic that Slater is back after overcoming such big obstacles...

So we can smash the bejesus out of him. Fantastic.

Hope he plays Origin.

I know it's early, but this sends the biggest tingle through my Grand Final senses...

In your head, rent free
i don't see us getting belted but i dont see us winning either

i think it will be a 22-12 type win for melbourne with the scoreline flattering them

so we will probably lose by 40

Will be very interesting to see how both teams turn up to this one. I suspect we will improve significantly on last week and you know that Melbourne will be doing the same things they always do. Interesting to read some people saying storm are due for a loss. Think we showed last season that long runs of success are possible and don't really buy into that mentality.
Improved performance but cant see us racking up enough points to get this one. But hey I'm possibly one of the worst judges around !!

They aren't due for a loss till someone brings a good enough game to beat them, dunno if the storm players will have a bit of emotion in this one or just treat it like a normal game
Either way it won't change the outcome of the GF we got over them so I can at least feel happy in that

Hopefully Val's confidence didn't take too much of a knock from the last round. I suspect that he'll be tested out this week and our chances depend on how he responds.

If Val has a good game I think we'll win this one.

Mate I reckon they'll have motivation by the truckloads. You can't tell me they won't be up for it after getting beaten by us in a Grand Final.

The key to this game is quick play the balls. The guys need to try and get up straight away and force the penalty early in the game so they stop holding down. Do this and we win. let them lay all over us and hold us down we lose. Simple
