We'll put in a better showing this week.

We created enough chances last weekend, but didnt respect the football. The boys will respect it against Melbourne though.

That's not to say i think we will win, i just think the performance will be better.

Yea the performance should be better but it needs to be HEAPS better and consistent over 80 mins to beat those ****s down in Melbourne.

Remember rnd 26 last year down there, we created plenty of chances with the ball but just the last pass and handling let us down.
Melbourne are most vulnerable in defense around the ruck area straight up the middle where they sometimes get some lazy marker defense from the big forwards, this is where we can continue to create breaks with Holmes, lewis, maloney ect

We'll cop a fisting I think.

Val will need to be more alert in D and those skinny in-goals down there will make Chad's kicking game even more difficult.

Add that to them being in form and us being far from it...

When I used to live down there, if there was a game at the MCG at the same time as a Storm game at Olympic Park, these AFL guys woukd stand near the fence and would offer MCG tickets in exchange of NRL ones.

This was about 2003-05

The final last 6 weeks last year - including Round 26 - was Flano holding his cards close to his chest and also playing sillybuggers with the interchange. They deliberately went away from what they thought would work in the finals. Flano admitted as much. That game holds no relevance.
