Edrick Lee is obviously a fill in player for us but what were everyones thoughts on him apart from that first dropped ball he did? He had a quiet game but I thought he was solid apart from his first dropped bombed try. He was solid when needed, I'll be happy to have him fill in for us again when needed.

For years i remember watchin lee and other than his hands he had a few good traits that are valuable. When he makes a run coming outta his own end he is hard to bring down and his lankiness etc help him work a penalty outta the ref with the extra attention he gets on the ground

Matt Chechin already was but now immotilised as my favourite referee, he really cops no siiht of anyone. You can tell If he doesn’t now he will once he retires live in the shire...

You would wish a tall athletic player like him was both faster and better in the air but he is not without positive attributes - keep in mind the bloke hasn't had solid first grade games week after week in years but he had a better game than Ado Car or Venavalooooooo who have been down on form.

Trundling around for Newtown only develops your game so far, happy to have him in over Grey as it stands

I said it during the pre season trials, he is running the ball back with alot more strength and gusto which I like (no doubt Flanno wants this as well) . I wish he had better hands though and would need to see more of him in FG to determine where his defense is at

I love to see players get noticeably better if this is Edrick then im all for him .. he just seems really shaky, if he can get that Cronulla Shark steel in him he would be really good depth

I see the problems with his ball handling skills being in the length of his arms. There'd be people on here with better medical qualifications than me but if there were a way for the club to have them shortened I think it'd be of benefit. Take a bit off in the off season.

Lee just requires confidence .
Then everything would fall in place .
Enjoyed watching him do the hard yards running the ball back from our end .
Still 7 backs ahead of him when fully fit .
Happy for a GOOD lower grade coach bring out his best in him

I've liked Lee a lot for a while & when I saw him named as Dugans replacement I was pretty pleased. Everyone has their weakness & for him it is obviously his hands but he is generally very solid otherwise & Im pleased he got his try last night. Unfortunately he wont be able to get consistent game time cause he is a bit below the ranks but if he could I'd say he'd get his confidence up a bit more.

I can't see any problems with this.

rather lee over gray at this stage.

Same. Gotta say though that things looked a bit shambolic a couple of times when the Storm spread the ball out toward that edge. Cedric looked unsure whether to backtrack etc. This will improve the more he plays in our current top grade structure, familiarity, confidence etc.
