I thought we did well today. Nothing to play for against a Dogs side in form and nothing to lose. We scored some good tries and while we let a few in I reckon our defence won’t be that loose in the semis.

If Ramien and Loots are back next week, this would be my back 5

Holmes
Feki
Dugan (left)
Ramien (right)
Lee

Sorry but Loots misses out for mine. If Feki can get his **** together with the high ball then I think I’d be ok to have him. Otherwise we’re playing guys out of position.

Really harsh on the Leutelecopter, but I think it’s what needs to happen. That backline is probably our best option at the moment, with Capewell on the bench backing them up.

I think we did enough to beat the level of opponent we were up against. The scoreboard makes that an obvious statement but I think ya's know what I mean.

I also think we rehearsed a few things we haven't pulled out in games yet; mainly Fifi on an edge/out the back option and Val setting them up rather than going himself.

They put some on us but mostly from shifting it inside their 20 with risky stuff you're unlikely to encounter in the first 70 of a final. There is a reason bottom 4 sides have been opening up and beating top 8 sides the last month and thats cause they play with nothing to lose.

Good outing. Hopefully learned a bit about where not to grubber and how to defend an early shift.

I worry about some of these blokes
thankfully our players don't drop their heads like some of our supporters do.

We've been ultra competitive since 2015 and there's not to many games in the last 4 seasons we haven't been in till the end yet some supporters think its doomsdays after 10 minutes of a game because we've made a few errors or conceded a try or two

We lost 4 games in the 1st 6 rounds, then only lost 4 more games for the rest of the season.

We’re definitely one of the top teams in this comp.

Not trying to be negative but we have been extremely lucky in some games this year. Raiders and warriors for starters plus we lost to the ****hole that is manly. The team has done well to get where they are but they haven't played all that great this year.

No one’s really set the world on fire this season mate. Top four all equal on 34 points tells you that. Other teams have also dropped games they should have won.

It’s an open comp, we’re coming into the finals with four straight wins and we have as good a chance as any.

We’re in this comp up to our eyeballs.

Up side is we have improvement in us where as I think the Roosters have hit their peak. These guys are not unbeatable.
If We bring our A game we are a good chance of a win.

Reckon we've avoided missing the top 8, mate?

it's not harsh on him, he's the only bloke in our backline that doesn't score or setup try's regularly and that now includes the backrow pomeroy who brought new life to our left side today

loots is from a bygone time when our forwards were our try scorers and our backs were just expected not to **** things up too much

grateful for loots service to the club all these years but gotta get past the loyalty/experience thing in favour of superior options - looking at you Flange
