What are our thoughts on bird giving Maloney a mouthful after that scabby attempted 10n drop out, did anyone remind him of his 7 missed tackles and probably the same the week prior,

Personally I loved it. Shows some passion.

It was a bit cheeky. Apart from anything though, James handled it really well justing laughing it off and saying he should have done better. He is a top shelf on and off the field.

I thought bird has been underwhelming the last few games 14 missed tackles last 2 weeks as well.. I'm not a fan of calling it passion... No doubt he wants to win but he could look internally at his own performance then spraying a bloke with 45 seconds to go. In saying that Maloney's 2 late 2nd half high tackle penalties had me screaming at him.

Just frustration. No doubt built up from many things, his own performance included.

I doubt any of them lingered on the event beyond the final siren.

I have no problem with players getting the ****s when they lose and perform poorly.

I agree. I'd rather see that than players having a giggle after a loss. To me it's a good sign.

Remember the meltdowns during our winning streak when Barba would blow up delux if someone messed up and let a try in? Nah, me neither. Its positive if the result is too.

the frustration at the end of that game was a positive sign imo the boys looked really pissed off not with just each other but themselves, they will be keen to get out there again on Saturday

Short turn around could help in that case, keeps the fire in the belly.
