I got the feeling that the Pom was going to get the axe after reading Flanagan's post game commentary. I'm content enough in this respect to go along with what the coach sees fit.

It's going to be hard to find motivation for what are three meaningless matches to end the season. Not giving Peachey, Kelly and possibly Frizell a run is something I can't understand. A bit of energetic youth with nothing to lose is better then a team as it is going through the motions. In addition, we'd be able to ascertain whether they're up to FG standard at this point of their careers.

Although I'm happy with that 1-17, I'd rather Taga was on the bench as a prop. I'm a bit scared Friz will drop off.

Basically I prefer...

Back row: Gallen/Smith/Tupou/Frizell
Props: Douglas/Snowden/Mannah/Tagataese

I assume Mills is injured, and that's why he's not listed in the NYC side?

Otherwise, I like both sides. Still got no firepower in the NRL backs and that sucks, but the pack looks strong, the bench is quality and well balanced given Taga and Gal/Smith can play prop, and it looks like a good defensive unit.

The talent is there, they just need to put it together and play with some intensity this week.

So if Pomeroy has a game where he really does nothing wrong (besides that stupid hit) and he gets dropped. However, after the dragons game he keeps his spot. I would love to know some of the reasoning behind a couple of Flanno's selections this year.

Ever thought that it might be a cumulative process? Pom had been good in the weeks leading up until the Dragons game. Or that Flano might be trying to give the young centres some time in the NRL before the season is over? The last couple of weeks it was Leutele, now its Wright. Don't play them all at once, but give them all a go. Hell, it might even be a mix of those reasons.

Use your imagination. Everything decision that's made has a reason behind it.

could be the dumb hit to,my first thoughts were, where the **** is your mind set to do something that utterly ridiculous.
It definitely was not on playing nrl football.
And while it was funny I must admit, if he challenged for the ball things might have been completely different, try maybe knock on and we regain ,who knows

Let's be honest, we haven't dropped Greg Inglis here we've dropped Ben Pomeroy. He's lucky he's been in the side so long to begin with.

Good work Flanno. I think taga prob should have been kept on the bench but you cannot argue a case for him not to be in the starting side given the way he's been playing - could be a Frank Pritchard type player. Hope Frizzel gets another shot but I also rate Cordoba and he needs to step up next year, so good opportunity if he gets it.

Good team. Bonus is if we lose Pom wont get shot for it :D

Serious note, i like it as long as Friz stays on the bench. My question is who is more beneficial to the team at the moment? Mannah or Cordoba?

i think tags should start, he deserves it with the way he has been playing, we need impact from the kick off and i think he can provide that. Although i like cordoba i think that friz needs a run to get some more FG experience b4 next year. Pom needs the rest of the season in the reggies to wake him up. He is a good player in patches. needs to put in a strong offseason and show the sharks who have obviously shown faith in him to re-sign (if that is accurate) that he can be a regular first grader without a shadow of a doubt

I think Cordoba has been found out a lot lately. Mannah isn't anything special but at least he's strong enough for the NRL and doesn't get dominated. Are Cordobas hitups really any better than our outside backs? I don't reckon.
