Is the bunker now worse than the old system ?

It shouldn't be called a bunker as we all know. The original concept was to have decisions made by officials who had no access to the live stream.

Instead we have idiots calling up play, seemingly on a whim, who change onfield decisions. But only sometimes.

Couldn't agree more. League is a pretty simple game made complicated by those in power.

The Titans loss today adds to the argument that the 5 day turnaround from a 90 minute hard game was a factor in our loss to the raiders.

Could also be an indication that the Warriors are a good team. They haven't lost an 80 minute game since round 11.

We have lost one game since April... Why keep changing a winning formula when he has had to make a call he has loots/Beale , it's not like anyone has been kicking down the door in nsw cup according to those who watch it.
I think that is probably the one change that could be made. Beale hasn't had a happy Month. I wouldn't be shocked to see Leutele back in the 17 somewhere.

if Melbourne have the minor premiership in the bag before that game i have no doubt bellamy rests his big names. If that happens and we run out full strength it doesnt really mean much for us either if we win.

I dont underestimate the loss of ennis at all. Before the game i said, now we have a capable 6 and 7 at least with ennis movin gon we have quality halves to help organise the side. Maybe that loss last night, with ennis missing will really show flanno that next year we cant just take a gamble on who is our hooker, we have to try and get someone capable. We were lost last night and it was obvious. But im also not going to discount how hard canberra actually made it for us, they gave us nothing

The worst scenario is a bash up for the minor premiership in round 26.

It is a tough one, but a comfortable 2nd place finish, locked in before that game might be best for a tilt at the title.

It gives the coach plenty of options.

First of all, we need to get back to our best over the next month, without that, the other stuff is irrelevant .

Yep, not fussed on the MP, it's nice to say you won it, pocket the 100K but that's it. Would much prefer to have our house in order & ready to hit the ground running in week 1 of the finals.

After watching Newtown today, I'm convinced our team would be stronger with Capewell on the bench

Agreed. He's too good for NSW cup.

Disappointing result on Saturday night, Canberra really dismantled us. We couldn't find any flow, couldn't set up any plays (especially on the right edge) like previous weeks. McIlwrick's service just wasn't as crisp as Ennis'. I just keep thinking about us beating the Cowboys last year 30-18 before they eventually went on to win the comp. Bounce back this week hopefully.
