Yeah for sure wasn't square. They had an obstruction on a kick return too. Saw a lot of neutrals acknowledging this too, not just biased shark supporters.
Ref does that game better and we get off to a better start, don't make so many 'panic' mistakes and given we came home okay fitness-wise we could probably have had an extra try or two and not been too worried about kicks (although less pressure he probably makes them and underlying issues of nerves pops up another time instead).
Also, in the post match bomber acknowledges a sense of nerves around the game because of being Wade's 250th. That nervousness in the team probably contributes to some of our panic mistakes and Chads bad kicking too.
A shame because you want to build up the big occasion but then we may have hurt ourselves with it. We all said pre game we hate a milestone so it has clearly been an issue for a while. Not sure how you fix that other than I'd suggest more hard headed veterans around maybe.
