People need to chill the **** out. It’s Rd 2 and we got the win. We’ll improve as we get combos and reduce the errors

Between Knights trial, some of Rnd 1 and today it’s very clear we are changing our style of play up to be more dynamic with SJ.

Will take time and there will be mistakes. As long as we are winning more than we are losing it should come good as the season progresses.

Even last week we looked offensively good at times just couldn’t execute.

How many pots + kebab does that get you in Melbourne mate?

Mate, beer costs a fortune down here and it's usually poured out of a dirty line at an inappropriate temperature into a sudsy glass. The kebabs and souvlakis are good though.

I'll let you know and report back.

Dear in Sydney too mate. I prefer drinking at home these days.

I get the feeling this team will not blow many teams off the park. We will do bare minimum till it matters

Dunno. We really should have put 50 on today. Respect the pill in the second half and I reckon we would have.

probably, but we just went for glory and the only way we would have ran away from it would have been if everything was sticking, would have been very entertaining though

You'd like to think JMo will be on top of that though, will be some harsh words on Monday I reckon.

I reckon we'll put some big scores on this year.

Surrender Tackle

The binning Of Bukuya came after what seemed to me a surrender tackle.

Surely he’s allowed a few extra seconds in this situation.

Also, he couldn’t get up because Woodsy was on top of him. ;)

And we got pinged for another one when a Titan’s player surrendered about ten minutes later.

Anyone else got an opinion on these tackles?

Were they surrender tackles?

Agree. For now!
But I don’t want the same **** being mentioned in say rounds 6,7,8 and onwards.
It is only round 2 and we did have a win but the boys do need to lift as we don’t want a repeat of 2017 thinking “it will just happen”.

When they drop to their knees, I’d classify that as a surrender.
I was overly impressed with the refs today. I thought they went backwards from last week.

Can't remember the lead up mate but we got pinged a ****load for petty ****. Penalty count was 14-5.

We were told the refs would let the game flow and not niggle.

Make your ****ing minds up please.

I don’t think you really get given any extra time by the refs for surrender tackles anymore.
You also can’t belt someone who surrenders which is an even bigger shame because if you’re gunna curl up on the ground you deserve to get whacked

Yes mate I agree.

Ridiculous for a home team to lose the penalties by that much.
