Although in general i am not happy with our errors we are definetly headed in the right direction. There is always more errors and a lack of cohesion in attack early in the season. Gives us another 4 or 5 rounds and i think we eill be very hard to beat. It will be interesting when Graham is back. We would then have a much stronger attacking left edge to complement our right edge.

The cowboys game will be a proper test. I think part of the fade out is a combination of lack of match fitness which is being compounded with errors. Guys like Fifita and Gal and woods always take 3-4 games before they can handle the longer minutes.

I like bukuya but i would be very tempted to play Uele. I would personally alsi consider a 4 forward bench next week if JT plays.

Uele was pretty unimpressive in reggies today.

I missed the full game today unfortunately because of my cricket teams semi, I saw us up 20 something h/time but nothing 2nd half, any players in particular who made the errors again? A wins a win though. I'll take it.

Katoa reeks of raw nervous energy, like he only learned the game 3 years ago or something. he's certainly no world beater by any stretch but what he lacks in pace & some might say skill he makes up for with sheer guts. Yet everyone loves the Fekstar who hasn't made more than a 10 metre run in 3 years. Fish eyes..FMD. Feki first picked.? not on my watch.

I don’t know that ‘everybody loves the Fekster’ just because we don’t want to drop him for out of form NSW Cup players...
He’s a below average winger... every club has to have some players that aren’t super stars and Feki has served us well enough for a long time (in which we won a Premiership)

His under the surface video he mentioned he’s been playing since 5, I get the same feeling though. I couldn’t believe how soft spoken the guy is, reminds me of Feki a little in that regard. Hopefully his errors are just a result of trying to hard.

The binning Of Bukuya came after what seemed to me a surrender tackle.

Surely he’s allowed a few extra seconds in this situation.

Also, he couldn’t get up because Woodsy was on top of him. ;)

And we got pinged for another one when a Titan’s player surrendered about ten minutes later.

Anyone else got an opinion on these tackles?

Were they surrender tackles?

When they run behind players and take a knee to avoid a penalty, what happens if the opposition refuse to lay a hand on him to constitute the tackle? Surely the ref would have no option but to blow the obstruction penalty.

How did Kennedy/Xerri go
onlt saw highlights, but Xerri set up 2 and bagged one himself. Mounties ran riot over them. Kennedy was a bit of a turnstile at the back, but it did show him with a neat kick return and ran 50m up field.

Can't remember the lead up mate but we got pinged a ****load for petty ****. Penalty count was 14-5.

We were told the refs would let the game flow and not niggle.

Make your ****ing minds up please.

I'm just impressed the refs didn't do a square up, **** I hate that bs
but yea we got done on some crappy calls. bit like last week our opposition seemed to have a different 10m to us

I don’t think you really get given any extra time by the refs for surrender tackles anymore.
You also can’t belt someone who surrenders which is an even bigger shame because if you’re gunna curl up on the ground you deserve to get whacked

the biggest joke was Ryan James surrendering by dropping down to the ground and grabbing Fifita's shirt to force him into a tackle so Fifita flopped on him suck **** hahaha

I think voluntary tackle is still actually in the rule book.

But it seems they’ll forever ignore it.

That was disgraceful

Would have been even better if Fifita had resisted then suddenly made a play for a strip
