Wouldn't suprise me if the NRL this week whipps out the mythical war chest to keep Semi.

NRL currently has a massive hard on for Parra and doesn't like seeing them hurt.

Isn't Parramatta stadium getting a few hundred million dollars for an upgrade (something like that)? They can't really afford not to love them.

If Val is in any doubt at all he shouldn't play, especially if Feki is back. It won't be as potent but Barba, Feki, Beale, Bird and Leutele will be fine.

agree. But i am sick of certain people in the media saying the NRL need to do more. I dont see what the NRL can do, other than increase the cap in a huge way. No player deserves a favour from the NRL cos another code wants him. Not to mention semi has 18 months left on a contract so if he wants to walk out on it, then see ya later champ, and id hope the NRL make it hard for him to come back if he ever wants to

Yeah thats it. Its petty. I know its money and these guys dont have long to make the big bucks, but its not the NRL's job to find every funds to give code hoppers. If they want to have a salary cap, then they can in no way help a team keep a player in that sort of way.
