Talakai has been an absolute beast and Nikora has been on our bottom few players virtually every week.
He can't even beat Teig to the 18 jersey!

Well he shouldn't have been dropped thats for sure, how does Williams keep his spot when he had been in even worse form then Nikora.

Not sure what games you’ve been watching mate but Nikora’s done nothing to keep his spot and it was a great decision by Bomber to drop him. He has been very ordinary in 2020.

I hope he comes back into form but like HB said he’s streets behind Talakai who deserves his starting spot.

I'm not saying Talakai doesn't deserve his spot, my word he deserves his spot in the 17 but Sorro who's in the same position was in very poor form aswell & somehow for quite a few weeks he kept getting picked, Nikora goes off form for just a few weeks & gets dropped from the 17 completely. On his day he has top potential for us I reckon.

He's on about 25 weeks at the moment

Nikora has been the main issue with our right edge defense, he's missing a lot of easy tackles and making a lot of bad decisions, which puts more pressure on SJ, we don't want our halves to have to do more work defensively than they have too

Nikora would be wasted on the bench, he doesn't add the size and punch with the ball that we need off the bench, Sorro gives us that, and is a stronger defender

Have to agree .
Talakai is a weapon and adds so much both in attack and defence .
Soro at lock is tightening the rack too .
Mobile and works hard .
Last bits of the jigsaw is whether Andrew comes back strong and Moylan starts to run faster and can bring his A game again

In your head, rent free
What are you talking about on 25 weeks? 25 weeks doing what?

Lets spell it out for you

Nikora is playing poorly and offering nothing to the team

Willims and Sorro offer more in terms of impact and production as well as better defensively

Talakai is in better form

Result, Nikora has been dropped for poor performance

It seems Nikora has gone on a huge spiral downwards on here in around 12 months. I remember last year when he made his debut early 2019 season he was getting praised non stop & was the "be all & end all" now all of a sudden everyone wants Sorro in before him. Sorro was ridiculed by a few for quite a while earlier & last year aswell, how tough it must be for a professional sportsmen at times hahaha :lmao.

Nikora was playing awesome in 2019 and Sorro wasn't. In 2020 Nikora has been playing rubbish and Sorro has been good.

As their performances changed, so did people's opinion.

I am more then aware of that about players form but I'm still entitled to my opinion that Nikora is still a decent player, I was just stating that I think it's ridiculous that he's lost he's spot in the full 17 all of a sudden. If Sorro has a few poor games then you'd surely think Nikora should get another run.

Have any opinion you want mate.

Sorro is not replacing Nikora, Talakai is. Sorro is used as a middle and Nikora is never gonna be played in the middle so they're not really in competition with each other for a spot. Talakai plays 80 so Nikora would be pretty useless on the bench as he's pretty much limited to right backrow, whereas Sorro & Jack (Teig too I think) can fill an edge or the middle. Unless Talakai becomes required elsewhere it could be a tough side to crack back into for Brit.

I apologise if I have a different opinion regarding certain players to a few of you but I thought this was a forum & I thought I have/had a right to disagree & think it's a bit harsh for him to be dropped completely. I love Talakai & want him to keep going as hard as he is, no doubt he deserves his spot but no offence to him, he'll probably go off form eventually aswell, so will Rudolf.

I don't believe anyone suggested otherwise.

All Good Champ.
No need for any apology on this forum .
I personally admire your loyalty to Nikora and no doubt when he gets his opportunity again he will lift .
The ball's totally in his court now and if he regains his 2019 form , everyone's a winner
Please continue to say what you feel , we all mightn't always agree , but that doesn't matter at all .
Everything is up for discussion / debate.

It is not “all of a sudden”. If you check out the Nikora thread there was a lot of criticism starting in June 2019.

I for one was very outspoken about Nikora playing poorly for much of last year. My first comments were following the round 5 loss in mid April.

I do agree though that many on here haven’t rated Soro.
