David fifita has got to be selected for this game, and with prior back I'm hoping to see a bench that doesn't contain taga, leutele and paulo.
We need to persist with Taga. He is hot and cold, but we need him back in good form for the back end of the season.

I like taga and always hope he plays to a level we know he's capable of but unfortunately in his 5 seasons he really has flattered to deceive. He needs a stint in nsw cup at the moment

Our win at Belmore last year was excellent against this lot. Apart from that though I'm struggling to remember much recent success against the dogs. Think we have the capacity this year to roll them but Monday night away games haven't been kind to us

Other than boogs our whole bench is rubbish. Ideally we would have boogs, a fit/motivated difita, another big fella and a utility like nu. Will be very worried about a chances late in the season if we cop forward injuries.

This game is a danger for us. Dogs are tough to beat and they'll be up for this game. Think we will struggle tbh, not confident. Big game the week after at home to the cowgirls, can't let them beat us twice this year.

Have you watched much of them this year? Extremely inconsistent.

Yea they haven't really looked dangerous at all to me lost to Eels, Raiders, Panthers and Warriors barely beat Titans and almost let the Roosters back in when they played like ****, after beating Manly and throwing the hoodoo i don't see any problems winning this match on their form it's not that great, need some good choices in selection change it up a little.

Sadly inconsistency has been a career long problem for taga, hence why he has bounced around a few clubs with no coach being able to unlock the magic week in week out consistency that could see him as one of the top echelon bench impact players, if ever a player should by on a week by week contract it's taga, I still remain a massive fan but admit he is frustrating but could well be the ace up our sleeve if we are to continue long into the post season finals. Cmon sammy if prior can turn it around so can you. Seek and destroy.

In your head, rent free
we cant flick taga as there is no one on our books better

paulo, dfeef, jsl, roqica - none are better than him, or close to being better than him

if anything we need a mid season transfer that can match or overtake him

Practically conceding defeat 2 weeks before the game - that's gotta be a new record

Thats why i said mid season.

Its sad that, in the poor form taga is in, he is still a top 17 guy for us. When he is on he is a beast. I love it when he breaks through and strides out. But those performances are few and far between, and his error count grows every second touch. If we could find a guy whos got a bit of hurt in his runs but can do it more consistently id be doing what i can to get him here

We've persisted with Taga since the day he arrived here. Too hot and cold, and too many fundamental errors.

Unfortunately we don't have anything better to replace him with so either a mid season transfer or just don't renew his contract and go shopping. We're going to need a better prop once Gallen retires as we'll miss his work as a prop/lock soon.

Just don't pass the ball to taga in traffic.

Ever.

Yeah need to get the halves/ennis working to minimise the late ball at the line for taga, more often than not thats when he drops it. Also no hit ups for him after points... god damn he's unreliable.
